Description
We are a family of 4 people: me, my husband Alec and our two girls, Maia 7 years old and Viola of 10. We live in a large house in the countryside, under the Belluno Pre-Alps in a quiet village of 300 souls. The nearest city center is about 15 kilometers away. From our house you can easily reach beautiful tourist cities like Belluno and Treviso (half an hour by car) and Venice (about 1 hour). We would like to host an English-speaking girl to improve the knowledge of the English language, especially for our girls, by sharing experiences of daily life. Furthermore being able to host a person from another nation would allow us to enrich our cultural background with new knowledge about the world around us outside our Italian borders.

Siamo una famiglia composta da 4 persone: io, mio marito Alec e le nostre due bimbe, Maia di 7 anni e Viola di 10. Abitiamo in una grande casa in campagna a Cison di Valmarino, sotto le Prealpi bellunesi in un paese tranquillo di 300 anime. Il centro cittadino più vicino dista circa 15 kilometri. Da casa nostra sono facilmente raggiungibili belle città turistiche come Belluno e Treviso (mezz'ora di auto) e Venezia (1 ora circa). Vorremmo ospitare una ragazza di madrelingua inglese per migliorare, attraverso la condivisione di esperienze di vita quotidiana, la conoscenza della lingua inglese soprattutto per le nostre bimbe. Inoltre poter ospitare una persona proveniente da un'altra nazione ci permetterebbe di arricchire il nostro bagaglio culturale di nuove conoscienze riguardo il mondo che ci circonda fuori dai nostri confini italiani.

We will be happy to teach our language, Italian, and accompany our guest in visiting the wonderful places that are located in the surroundings of our house: mountains, historic cities, nature.

Help
To those we host we ask for help mainly in the care of girls and in teaching English. It follows that the person we host must have a natural propensity to stay and play with children.

A chi ospitiamo chiediamo un aiuto prevalentemente nell'accudimento delle bambine e nell'insegnamento della lingua inglese. Ne consegue che la persona che ospitiamo deve avere una naturale propensione e anche piacere nello stare e giocare coi bambini.

Siamo una famiglia dai ritmi tranquilli: io al momento non lavoro ma sono alla ricerca, mio marito lavora durante il giorno. La sera durante la settimana, dopo cena, mettiamo le bimbe a letto abbastanza presto. Nel fine settimana usciamo o tutti in famiglia per incontrare amici oppure, saltuariamente, usciamo solo io e mio marito in coppia.
