Description
Welcome to our B&B and Wellness, a cozy and relaxing Bed & Breakfast located in the heart of Falster, just a stone's throw away from the Corselitze Castle and Falster Kyst. Falster is an island in the south-eastern part of Denmark and is a part of Region Zealand. It is an old farmhouse situated on the Danish countryside just outside Nykøbing Falster, and it boasts 10 charming guest rooms.
We need help around the house during high season (June, July, August, and September). This might include welcoming guests, cleaning rooms and common areas, running errands, and possibly helping to care for our beloved dogs and my five-year-old daughter, Nell. Additionally, if you are a yoga teacher, there may be opportunities to lead classes and workshops.
We are me Kornelia, the proud owner, my dad Konrad, and my five-year-old daughter, Nell. I am a Polish woman who has lived in London, England, for many years. I moved to Falster to find a balanced life for myself and my daughter and to follow my dream. We all love to meet amazing people from all over the world who can help and teach us. If you are interested in being a part of our family and our team, please do not hesitate to contact us. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will be immersed in the nordic and Danish culture, meet guests from all over the world, and you get to explore a beautiful place. And always with good vibes and a smile.
You will have plenty of free time to explore the island on your own, and we will assist you in discovering the best of Falster.
Nykøbing Falster is just 10km away and accessible by bus or bike ride if you enjoy cycling, or I can drop you off occasionally. Additionally, there is a direct train to the capital Copenhagen that takes 75 minutes.
In addition, you will also have the opportunity to accompany me to Copenhagen, as I occasionally work there in addition to running the B&B. This will allow you to explore and experience another side of Denmark. -

Help
The work will be around the House, helping out.
In the high season (summer) we will be really busy and need extra hands.
We are normally fully booked throughout summer. So we would need help with:
-Welcoming guests
-Running earrings such as buying groceries and so on
-Cleaning rooms
-General maintenance
-If you like kids and dogs, helping out with my 3 lovely dogs and my 5 years old daughter would be lovely.
The exchange is for 20-25 working hours a week divided in 5 days and 2 days off, but we are flexible and we can arrange a different schedule if you need.
Teamwork is very important for us, we help each other and try to make everyone's life easier.
It is also important for us that you know how to behave around guests and have keen eye for details, and mostly that you enjoy what you are doing.

Accommodation
You will be staying at the Bed and Breakfast and will have your own single bedroom downstairs next to mine (Kornelias) in the private area. The bathroom will be shared with me and my daughter. The room is simple but cozy, with a single bed, desk, and wardrobe.
You will have access to the kitchen at the B&B to make your own meals, or you can join us for meals and have what we are having. You will always have the option of starting your day with the organic breakfast, tea, and coffee that is served to the guests. You are also welcome to grab something from the fridge and head to the beach for a couple of hours to relax. -
What else ...
Falster is a countryside region in Denmark that boasts a lot of charming places that you won't find in the bustling cities. Here, you can stumble upon small roadside shops selling delicious homegrown potatoes and other delectable treats.
If you're the sporty type, there are a lot of golf clubs, cycling trails, and hiking routes nearby. And if you're a beach bum, there are plenty of water activities like kayaking and canoeing to keep you entertained.
It's worth noting that in Denmark, cycling is more popular than driving, so be sure to hop on a bike and explore the area like a local.
The region's natural beauty is simply breathtaking. Take a stroll in the nearby forest or relax on the stunning white sand beach just 4km away. Marienlyst and Nykøbing Falster, two bigger cities, are just a few kilometers away. In Nykøbing Falster you will find good shopping opportunities.
If you're feeling adventurous, take a 75-minute drive or train ride to Copenhagen, the Danish capital, and immerse yourself in the city's rich history and culture. -
