  I have returned to live in Puglia after spending over thirty years in other regions, and I want to bring with me the experience of hospitality and community-building I gained in Bologna. I am looking for help from workawayers to fix up my private country house in the Murgia hills near Massafra, transforming it into a free gathering place for travelers, artists, and athletes for workshops, retreats, artist residencies, or training sessions. It's not a business activity, I want just to offer hospitality and host people involved in arts and sports, sustainability and natural lifestyle, basically as a cultural exchange.
  The property includes land planted with olive, almond, and various fruit trees, as well as a vegetable garden; help with managing and tending to the grounds would be invaluable. I love the idea of ​​an exchange: offering guests the chance to enjoy the stunning view of the Gulf of Taranto while receiving some assistance in enhancing and bringing life to this beautiful location. The house offers space for practicing music and various sports—specifically pole fitness and other aerial disciplines.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Workawayers will have the opportunity for a rewarding exchange with the local community, both linguistically and in terms of food and wine culture, which is very rich in our area. I will be happy to share my skills in music, sports, and sailing with my guests. I hope to improve my language skills thanks to them, learn new recipes, and hear interesting traveling stories.

  I am looking for help from Workawayers to finish tidying up the house and tending to the garden and vegetable patch. Skills in masonry and agriculture are appreciated but not essential. I am open to new ideas for enhancing the house and the property.

  Accommodation

  Workawayers have access to a room with a double bed, as well as a beautiful, comfortable Hymer camper van featuring two double beds. The bathroom in the house is shared with me and other guests.
  
  I will be glad to share with guests three meals per day. In case i will not able to join them to eat together, they will have at disposal food and kitchen to prepare whatever they prefer and have good meals. In our area food is very good and products are always fresh and of excellent quality. We will use also vegetables and fruits grown in our field when available

  In your free time, you can explore the beautiful surrounding area, engage in sports and yoga, play music, or simply relax. Environmental conservation and plastic cleanup activities are also possible in the vicinity. For transportation, my car and several bicycles—including a beautiful tandem—are available. The city is just three kilometers away.

  For the moment there is space just for my motorhome, that is at disposal of the workawayers. More space just for an other small van. I can provide electricity and water.
