Description
HELP US BUILD A HOUSE WITH NATURAL MATERIALS (stone, clay, wood...)
Important: The work we are developing is hard, so we are looking for active and hardworking people. Now we need help related to: Woodworking, Roofing, eco-construction
The minimum stay is 15 days.
We are a young couple and a baby who are creating a small organic farm. At the moment we are focused on the reconstruction of a house, following traditional techniques and using natural materials, therefore, most of the tasks that you must realize as a volunteer will be related to the construction. During the spring and summer we also have work in the family kitchen garden.
Our activities are developed in a abandoned village located 8 km from Enguídanos, where we want to establish ourselves when we finish building our house. This village, where you will work as a volunteer is in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by nature.

How do we organize the work??
The activity takes place in a village located 8 km from the town of Enguídanos. As a volunteer you will work 25 hours a week distributed over 4 or 5 days. Volunteers will stay with the hosts, in the same house. The house is not finished, so the accommodation at the moment is a bit precarious, but it will cover your basic needs: bed, compost toilet, cold shower (although we can heat water) and small living room with wood stove. In addition to work, volunteers have to collaborate in household chores.
