Description
This winter could be spent on the Spanish high plato, amid holm oak and granite landscapes caring for our animals while we are away for the holidays. Our home is at the edge of town, in a established suburban residential village where huge extensions of natural park reserves are right around the bend. Regular bus service straight to the city. Village life with all the basic necessities plus cultural activities within biking/walking distance or a short drive.
We're Spanish, Canadian and Basque and we live with our lovely sheep dog Ginger, friendly cat Maui, and some little fish too. On our profile you will see many photos of our home in the countryside in northern spain. Right at the moment we're looking for individuals who would like to take care of our animals for three weeks here in town, on the outskirts of Madrid.
There's so much to explore in the area, come and enjoy the many hiking trails, cycling, rock climbing, and spectacular mountain landscape, while enjoying life on the fringes of a great metropolitan city in the Sierra de Madrid.

These two have been with us for a few years and have had many names, our house sitters often like to rename them.
Maüi
Maüi is about 12 years old, she came to us as a kitten from some friends. She´s friendly and independant, having grown up as an outdoor cat, becoming more and more fond of petting as she´s gotten older. She´s adapted well to being an indoor/outdoor cat with our move to town.
Ginger (6 years)
Ginger is a fun and friendly family companion, always keen for some time outside or some petting. She's a Basque sheep dog, and has grew up in the countryside, with our move she's adapted easily to life in town.
