  I am Germán son of Rosa and Marco, who live in the countryside near Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador (30 minutes from the city by taxi). Because they do not have internet access I make this profile for them. They live in a small community called LOMA GRANDE. They have 9 children but now they live alone and there love to meet people from other countries and share their life in the countryside with them. Both of them work in agriculture and care for animals such as chickens, guinea pigs, pigs and cows. They also have dogs and cats.
  
  I work as adventure sports guide in Baños. I heard about the workaway page and I decided with my parents to open this profile so that people can know what life in the country is like and so that my parents get help and company.
  
  To get to the village you have to pay a taxi for 8 dollars and to return you can go out in the cars that leave there, my parents can always help you find a car. If you want to stay in the city of Baños you can stay in my house too. Please contact me if you have any further questions.

  Soy Germán hijo de Rosa y Marco , que viven en el campo cerca de Baños de Agua Santa, Ecuador (30 minutos de la cuidad en taxi). Porque no tienen acceso de internet hago este perfil para ellos. Ellos viven en una pequeña comunidad que se llama LOMA GRANDE. Tienen 9 hijos pero ahora viven solos y les encanta encontrar gente de otros países y compartir su vida en el campo con ellos. Los dos trabajan en la agricultura y cuidando animales como pollos, cuyes, cerdos y vacas. Tambien tienen perros y gatos.
  
  Yo trabajo de guía de deportes de aventura en Baños. Así supe de la pagina workaway y decidí con mis padres de abrir este perfil para que la gente puede conocer como es la vida en el campo y para que mis papas tienen ayuda y compañía.
  
  Para llegar al pueblo debes pagar un taxi de 8 dolares y para regresar puedes salir en los carros que salen de ahí, mis papas pueden ayudar en encontrar un carro. Si quieres quedarte en la cuidad de Baños puedes quedarte en mi casa también. Por favor contactarme si tienes más preguntas.

  In Loma Grande you can have very good viewpoints over the city of Baños, the volcano Tungurahua and the landscapes of the mountains. In the community you can also practice speaking Spanish with local people, look at how the people from the countryside live, an opportunity that not everyone gets, since it is not a touristy place.
  
  En Loma Grande puedes tener muy buenos miradores como a la cuidad de Baños, al volcan Tungurahua y paisages de las montañas. En la comunidad también puedes practicar español hablando con la gente local, mirar como viven las personas del campo el día día, porque no es un lugar turístico.

  Help

  When you share life with them, you will help in the house, with the animals and to help in agriculture. In general there is no work routine, with every day you can do something different. We will always see what there is to do and help. From day to day we are going to talk about what you can do. Basically we expect you to help 4 hours, 5 days a week, either in the morning or in the afternoon, as you prefer. When you have more energy and interest you are welcome to help more in what you want. The rest of the time you can use to enjoy the beautiful landscapes or the people who live in this place.
  
  Cuando compartas la vida con ellos, vas a ayudar en la casa, con los animales y a trabajar en la agricultura. En general no hay una rutina de trabaja, con cada día se puede hacer algo diferente. Siempre vamos a ver que hay para hacer y ayudar. De día a día vamos a hablar de lo que puedes hacer. Básicamente esperamos que trabajas 4 horas, 5 días a la semana, no importa sí en la mañana o en la tarde. Cuando tienes más energía e interese estas bienvenido a ayudar más en lo que tu quieres. El resto de tiempo puedes utilizar para disfrutar de los paisajes hermosos o de la gente que vive en este lugar.

  The house is humble, has rooms where you can stay comfortable in a very friendly atmosphere. You can stay alone or share. The bathroom is shared with all, you can also spend your time always in the living room or the kitchen with the family.
  
  La casa es humilde, tiene habitaciones donde puedes quedarte cómodo en un ambiente muy amable. Puedes quedarte solo o compartir. El baño es compartido con todos, también puedes pasar tu tiempo siempre en el salón o la cocina con la familia.

  There are beautiful walks to explore nature. My parents and I can show or tell you where you can go to enjoy your time. There is always the possibility of going to Baños or visiting other cities. There is no public transport, but there are cars that enter and leave the village.
  
  Existen caminatas lindas para explorar la naturaleza. Mis papas y yo podemos mostrar o decirte a donde puedes ir para disfrutar tu tiempo. Siempre hay la posibilidad de ir a Baños o visitar otras ciudades. No hay transporte publico, pero hay carros que entran y salen del pueblo.
