We often have family Shared meals with Ages ranging from 93 to 12 :)

My sister (Samara) is very knowledgeable with the Maori style of flax weaving and will be able to share with you if you're interested.
She has also recently completed a course, learning of neurodiversities.

There are soooo many great beaches to explore . There are many walkways on Banks Peninsula.

I ( Jamie / Son ) can even possibly take you paragliding (if the weather lines up)

A local plant nursery also welcomes volunteers two days a week... A wonderful opportunity to interact with locals of various ethnicities.

Ive travelled extensively and would be happy to host and show our slice of paradise to some people who'd like get a feel of the Rural NZ way Life

The land requires care to keep it moving towards our vision . We have much to be done gardening , cutting grass and compost building , planting native trees , tree and flax maintenance , painting and general land care.

We try to use organic products and work with nature whilst shaping our projects along side it :)

My Father is 90 years old , still of sound mind but limited mobility , some short term company or simply sitting him whilst we are away for part of a day would help us (but is not expected , only if its comfortable for you )

We also have 2 Jack Russells on the property and a Labradoodle 1/2 the time

    Accommodation

We have 3 Dwellings on the property. The offered room is in the main house with Ann & Barry (93yo) - a queen bed and a seperate toilet / shower.
There is also the possibility of spending some time in one of the yurts dependant on Jamie (son) & his partner's movements.

We have most of our food from the gardens and hunting & fishing . Other local produce is available, such as eggs, milk & cream.

We have plenty of food from our land and I (Jamie / Son) Hunt and Fish, so our food is largely organic , locally , wild sourced .
The kitchen space will be open for you to use. Ann (mother of the house) very much appreciates any help with evening meals ;)
