Help
The land requires care to keep it moving towards our vision . We have much to be done gardening , cutting grass and compost building , planting native trees , tree maintenance , painting and general land care.
We try to use organic products and work with nature whilst shaping our projects along side it :)
My Father is 90 years old , still of sound mind but limited mobility , some short term company or simply sitting him whilst we are away for part of a day would help us (but is not expected , only if its comfortable for you )
We also have 2 Jack Russels on the property and a Labradoodle 1/2 the time

Accommodation
I live in a 6m Yurt .
Neighbouring this I have a spare 7m Yurt which is a very large space all to yourself, it has a very comfortable Queen Sofa bed & has Power. It can be heated if you're sensitive to the cold , though is generally warm.
I have a large outdoor kitchen you'd be welcome to use , I use a compost toilet / have a bath under the stars / a covered outdoor shower and even a wood fired sauna you are welcome to use
If you're not comfortable with any of those facilities you'd be able to shower / use the bathroom at the main house my parents are in.
We have most of our food from the gardens and my hunting & fishing . Other local produce is available, such as eggs & cream
We have plenty of food from our land and I Hunt and Fish so our food is largely organic , locally , wild sourced . The kitchen space will be open for you to use as you wish , I will provide meals each day. On the occasion I may not be here you are welcome to make yourself at home and help yourself.
What else ...
A once-a-day 'CityLine' bus service is available to and from Christchurch.
I would be happy to show you some local sights and have plenty of suggestions of things to do. I have a bike you are welcome to use also.
