We often have family Shared meals with Ages ranging from 90 to 12 :)

My sister is very knowledgeable with the Maori style of flax weaving and will be able to teach you if you're interested.
She has also recently completed a course, learning of neurodiversities.

There are soooo many great beaches to explore . There are many walkways on Banks Peninsula.

I can even possibly take you paragliding (if the weather lines up)

A local plant nursery also welcomes volunteers two days a week... A wonderful opportunity to interact with locals of various ethnicities.

Ive travelled extensively and would be happy to host and show our slice of paradise to some people who'd like get a feel of the Rural NZ way Life

The land requires care to keep it moving towards our vision . We have much to be done gardening , cutting grass and compost building , planting native trees , tree and flax maintenance , painting and general land care.

We try to use organic products and work with nature whilst shaping our projects along side it :)

My Father is 90 years old , still of sound mind but limited mobility , some short term company or simply sitting him whilst we are away for part of a day would help us (but is not expected , only if its comfortable for you )

We also have 2 Jack Russells on the property and a Labradoodle 1/2 the time

    Accommodation

    I live in a 6m Yurt .

Neighbouring this I have a spare 7m Yurt which is a very large space all to yourself, it has a very comfortable Queen Sofa bed & has Power. It can be heated if you're sensitive to the cold , though is generally warm.

I have a large outdoor kitchen you'd be welcome to use , I use a compost toilet / have a bath under the stars / a covered outdoor shower and even a wood fired sauna you are welcome to use

If you're not comfortable with any of those facilities you'd be able to shower / use the bathroom at the main house my parents are in.

We have most of our food from the gardens and hunting & fishing . Other local produce is available, such as eggs & cream

We have plenty of food from our land and I Hunt and Fish so our food is largely organic , locally , wild sourced . The kitchen space will be open for you to use as you wish , I will provide meals each day. On the occasion I may not be here you are welcome to make yourself at home and help yourself.
