    Description

This is a family-run farm located in Lahemaa National Park on the coastline of the Juminda Peninsula. We are a non-profit organization specializing in the maintenance of semi-natural ecosystems, and the training of herding dogs, also we conduct tours describing these semi-natural ecosystems we operate in. Our farm hosts a flock of fifty sheep who are also our main tool in the whole process of maintaining these beautiful natural habitats. In addition to sheep, we have three Border Collies who are our herding dogs.

Lahemaa National Park is the oldest National Park in Estonia and a place where nature has played a major role in human life for centuries.
Coming to our farm you get to know how a small farm in Estonia operates, this means you get new knowledge about the process of herding sheep with Border Collies, overall handling of the sheep, and other difficulties that you may have to overcome living in the countryside. Nature is diverse and astonishing in Lahemaa National Park but one's eye is the king.

  • Help

    Help

Mostly we need help with mowing invasive species of plants off the semi-natural ecosystems which wouldn't be eaten by sheep and may harm the natural habitat. Help is also welcome in other farm chores such as taking care of the sheep, building or repairing fences, and even in the excruciating process of playing with dogs.
