Description
We live on a beautiful park-like property in the middle on a quaint, small town in south Western Australia. As well as a vibrant and creative community (although vibrant probably not the right word for any night after 9pm except on our famous music festival weekend), there are always tourists in town making use of our world class mountain bike trails, walking trails, regular events and proximity to many other south west towns.
We're hoping to exchange this beautiful setting,on the Blackwood River and right next door to the Brewery, for some help in the garden.
You will need to love dogs (we have 3), old timber houses (ours is over 100 years old) and not be allergic to bees (sometimes there's a few in the flowers).Types of help and learning opportunities

Interests
PetsWritingMusicCultural exchange and learning opportunities
Live amongst a quirky mix of residents in small town Australia. Walk or ride in spectacular forests, join a music jam with the locals (no experience necessary), meet artists from a range of artistic styles, play lawn bowls just down the road, soak up a peaceful and picturesque location.
Help
There is always something to do in the garden. Could be thinning the canna lillies, pulling weeds, actually mostly pulling weeds. We'll be in the garden with you and so will the dogs.

Accommodation
A lovely room with a double bed, in a sweet timber cottage. May have own bathroom as we sleep in a separate bedroom/bathroom to the main house. May have to share bathroom with one other person or couple depending on timing and other potential workaways.
We eat a range of food, lots of noodle soup with meat and veg, roasts, bbq's, but happy to prepare vegetarian.A little more information
Internet access
Limited internet access
We have pets
We are smokers
Can host families
Can host digital nomads
We choose to hot spot from a mobile phone rather than have wife. You are welcome to use the hot spot and I have a reasonable amount of data but probably not enough to supply endless data to numerous people.
Space for parking camper vans
Plenty of space. Will soon have a toilet connected for campers use.
Can possibly accept pets
We have 3 dogs, 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small. All girls. They are a bit anxious so your dog would need to be friendly or restrained. Prefer no cats because of wildlife but if very securely inside cats would be considered. Other species by negotiation.
How many Workawayers can stay?
More than two
