Description
If you are looking for a quiet place in nature on your travels or just to experience old way of life, then this is it.
Hi! I'm Patricija, a member of our family of 8 people - living with grandma, mum, 2 sisters and her partner and 2 kids from the oldest sister. Our family life may be unusual and loud sometimes, but always full of energy and radience.
We live in a small valley, surrounded by beautiful green nature (forests, fields, meadows), where we produce most of our food at home with a farm. We have a pet goat Bine, horse mare Jona, few cows, pigs, a lot of chickens and few cats. We do things the old way - hands-on work, heating the house with the wood we gather, growing all vegetables on our own, from seeds we save from previous year, living in tune with cycles of nature.
Working with nature can provide a special feeling of peace... You ground yourself, slow down, forget about daily worries or overwhelming stimuli of modern life. Wether it's growing crops, collecting them, feeding the animals or burning wood in the stove during colder winter days - each season has it's magic and can be a rewarding experience. And you can become a part of our story too. :)Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We live in a Slavic country, so traditions and food are well connected with it.
At our farm you can learn all about planting, growing, collecting crops, storing them, making different preserves, collecting wood, taking care if farm animals, gathering herbs and teas, working in wineyard, ... Depends at what time you come.
In the local area we have a monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world, hill with deers to pet, local premium chocolate factory, Spa center Terme Olimia (among the very best) and lots of other natural wonders.
And what I wish to learn from you? Anything you know and come from, all experience is welcome!Help
Any kind of help with tasks at hand. Planting crops in spring, growing them throughout the summer, collecting them in autumn and storing them for winter. Each season has it's specialities.
But not to worry! We will show you how everything is done.Languages

For now we have a pull-out couch in a room that serves as a home office. The room is clean, spacious and provides good comfort and privacy.
We have lunch together, for breakfast and dinner it's whatevery someone wants to make and is in the kitchen or fridge. Sadly no vegan option. What else ...
Keep in mind that there are two small children in the house, so it can get a bit loud sometimes.
As we live on a countryside away from cities, it can be a bit harder to access by public transport, so contact me for more information on it (still buses and trains available, just not so often).A little more information
