Description
Hi, My name is Shiva. I live with my 12-year-old son, our cat and dog in a semi-rural area of Melbourne. We are a vegetarian household and have lived in this house for 18 years and love the friendly community which has traditionally attracted many artists and eco-friendly individuals and families. We don't have a TV, but reliable internet access is available. We love travelling and meeting people from different cultures. We love to share our home with workaway individuals or couples for up to a week at a time.

What else ...
The house is a 10 minute walk to Hurstbridge train station and a 70 minute direct train ride to the City of Melbourne. The historic Hurstbridge is within a short walking distance and has many shops and cafes. Our house is located on a lovely ½ acre block and backs into an acreage frequently visited by Kangaroos. There are many beautiful nature walks both within a walking and a short driving distance. The historic st Andrews Market is a popular local attraction and can be accessed by a shuttle bus. Hurstbridge is situated in the Yarra Valley region of Victoria renowned for its wineries, berry farms and Healesville Australian wildlife sanctuary.
