Hello. I live in Terence bay Nova Scotia. It's a little fishing village not far from famous Peggys cove, and about 30 mins from downtown Halifax. Its a truly beautiful area, especially if you love the ocean and being outside. Lots of great places to hike, and the best boating of any type in Nova Scotia (my opinion). My room mate recently moved and I have thought about Airbnb my spare room, but I think I would prefer a guest for a month, rather than new ones every few days... I am building a floating tiny home and would like some help building it, and improving my outdoor space. I've been doing construction for 15 year after university and get to build cool things for others all the time, but not for myself. 10hrs a week would be great, any more and I would happily pay for.

Canada is a friendly welcoming place. Our city is quickly expanding, and I am just outside of this. Lots of employment opportunities and we have immigrants from all over. The ocean is 5 mins away if you like to fish, swim, kayak, or seadoo. If you want to learn about building structures/plumbing/basic electrical/fiberglass/welding the project will encompass all of that.

I am building a 26'x12' barge houseboat made of plywood and epoxy. No motor, will be towed into position and anchored. Plan is for it to be two levels with a roof you can dive off into the ocean. Because of its size I have to complete it outside when the weather is right, so I don't get much time to work on it every summer. basic construction experience would help, but not needed.

I travel into the city almost every day and can provide you with pickup and drop off. There is also a bus system, but It doesn't go right to my house. Our city is home to many universities and a large population of young people. Housing is getting tougher to find, and more expensive. On your days off you can kayak/SUP/bike/hike many places close by. we go boating and seadooing on ride atvs the weekends and you are welcome to join.
