    Description

    Hi dear traveller.

My name is Andrew and I am living and working on my 112 year old barge. I am an artist and I also lead an on-line group in meditation.
You might be young or not so young, male or female...but as long as you are committed to working and are definitely emotionally stable then you will be welcome to join me over the next few months.
The work will be to finish detailing with paintwork, both inside and out, some sanding and varnishing and possibly tiling and grouting. I will also need some help moving stuff to storage on land so that the ship is the best that it can be.
I ask for at least four hours work a day in return for accommodation and food.
I have internet hotspot, an electric bicycle for you to use (It's large size) and the region is very pleasant and quite removed from city life.
On board life is really very pleasant. You will have your own single private room and we can share the daily tasks of cleaning cooking etc.
The ship is well equipped with modern conveniences, warm and dry and completely off grid.
I do have limited physical capacity to do stuff now due to nerve damage though I can show you what to do and may join in as I can.
It's possible a couple or two friends would work as well as there is space.
If you enjoy dog walking, Fred would like that a lot.
I look forward to meeting you.

PLEASE NOTE!!! I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW PEOPLE SAY THEY ARE COMING TO STAY AND THEN SAID, OFTEN AT VERY SHORT NOTICE THAT THEY AREN'T COMING. PLEASE ONLY AGREE TO COME IF YOU ARE ABLE TO COMMIT. Thank you.

You will meet me and my doggie and experience some beautiful countryside in Belgium. The weather should be beautiful in this lovely landscape with fabulous spring and summer happening. It also could be rainy and cold. The ship is warm but you will have to bring wet weather clothing for outdoor work.
