CURRENT PROJECTS: we need someone to pet/house-sit in between the December 7th 2025 and January 17th 2026. If you are available and interested, don´t hesitate to contact us :)
===============
Hi everyone! We are Silvina, Alejandro, Maitena, Chloé, Gaspar and Hagrid. We are a travel family that, after two years moving around Europe in a motorhome, decided to set our base in south Spain. We currently live in a peaceful land surrounded by olive and carob trees, with a breathtaking mountain view. We are in a small catalonian town called L´Ametlla de Mar (south Tarragona), very close to beautiful beaches and calas.
We have been workawayers and we loved the experience, so now we would like to be hosts!!Types of help and learning opportunities
Language practice
Help with Eco Projects
Gardening
DIY and building projects
Animal Care
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Help around the house
General Maintenance
House sitting
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
While pet and housesitting, you have the freedom to move around town, beaches and mountains. You can also enjoy the quietness and peace of our finca. We will just require you to keep company to our beloved dog a few hours a day or take him with you, if you can/want.
We speak spanish and english like natives, so we can teach and practice those languages and a little bit of catalan too. We are from Argentina and we bring our culture with us. We love sharing it with other people. We can also take travellers around town and to visit as many beaches as we can in the area. We can also teach you about olives and carobs, about gardening and living an ecofriendly life in the fields.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We are now looking for someone who could keep company to our dog, Hagrid and take care of the place while we are out in december 2025 and january 2026.
We will also be starting the construction of our new house soon, so will probably be grateful to have some extra hands for that. We also have gardening projets all the time.Languages

As travellers we love learning new languages and teaching the ones we speak. In the end, is all about being able to comunicate with each otherAccommodation
We live in a mobilhome with 3 bedrooms and we also have a wooden cottage.
We can offer the whole place for house and petsitters and fill the fridge before we leave.
We have plenty of space for caravan and camping.
The cottage has a double bed.
We offer 3 meals a dayWhat else ...
When we´re not around, we would like the travelers to keep company to Hagrid and to water the plants in our small garden. Our dog can stay home alone for a few hours every day, so you can go for a run or to the beach or to visit town.
You will have plenty of time for yourself. There are also rivers and mountains around, so it´s nice to go for a trekking.
We can lend you our bikes and also our car, so you can move around freely. Town and beach is also walking distance from our house.
L'Ametlla de Mar is famous for its red tuna, so if you like tartar, come stay with us!!A little more information
