    Description

it's 3 years that I'm taking care of a beautiful olive grove in a slow and hopefully harmonious recovery after years of complete abandonment. The land runs alongside the Vivo river, with comfortable pools where you can swim and it's surrouned by young forests.
ln this wild setting I'm trying to carefully read the territory, recovering what past generations had skilfully built and what Nature has expertly added over the years.
we're just few kilometers away from several thermal springs (Petriolo, Bagni San Filippo).
I'm accompanied by my beloved and sweet dog Fosca, plus some friends that come and go. Hopefully you will be the next one!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I'm studying and applying permaculture, lately experimenting with syntropic agroforestry particularly. Which I find fascinating. I've been cultivating different edible mushrooms on logs by the river.
I've a background as an art psychotherapist, and grounding knowledge of process work. Generally really interested in human interaction and applied ecology.
I play badly guitar, and would love to have more music on the land!
Generally attracted by art, so would love to have artists creating on my land.

  • Help

    Help

I'll need help taking care of my 3 hectars, one of olive grove where we'll also live, and 2 of chestnut grove plus mixed forest, few minutes away. Help will include pruning, planting, watering, building wood structures and generally taking care of the land. If you love cooking that could also be your contribution, It's a permaculture based project: if you've a background in permaculture we can design together some improvements and imagine new solutions.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

to feel confortable and welcome you need to LIKE OFF GRID situations. On the land you'll find a solar shower and a compost toilet. A shared kitchen is present on the small house where I'm staying.
Your accomodation could be in a roulotte (2 beds) or in your private tent.
I'll be able to offer regular meals, that we'll prepare together, or also get organised in different ways if you required more free time on the land.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

in your free time you could explore the nearby thermal baths, some beautiful medieval villages, a sculpture park extending over 3 hectars, and generally anything nature related, from hiking to reading and swimming in the river. It's an extremely quite environment.

Bus lines to Castel del Piano, the area is generally not well connected with public transport. If you want to explore around you'd really better have a private mean of transport.
