  • Description

We are a young family who run our own eco resort with a small farm and permaculture garden. We have tents, tipis and yurts offering guests a 'glamping' (glamorous camping) experience in a beautiful area, 6km from the coast. We have a large freshwater lake with its own beach and 11 hectares of mixed grasslands, woodlands and gardens.

During our season (april-october) we mainly need help in the running of the resort; cleaning, making beds, serving breakfast, working in the kitchen and bar. We also look for skilled workers to build structures out of natural materials and to maintain the gardens.
Francisco is Portuguese and worked in England for 10 yrs running his own garden design and landscaping company. He has studied Permaculture and has experience in building with natural and recycled materials. Claudia is English, studied geography and worked as a primary teacher.
Together we can offer you a wonderful stay in a beautiful area where we can share our skills and knowledge. We like to work hard yet we are a relaxed couple who aim to always have fun and enjoy whatever we do.
You will stay in a tent or caravan and will be provided with delicious, homemade food. Would suit a couple or friends who like people, animals and nature. Minimum of 1 month stay.

We are looking for a restaurant manager, with experience, to run our restaurante at aTerra. We need somebody with leadership skills, capable of running a small team and with basic knowledge on F&B management. We offer a base salary, commissions, meals and housing on the site.
