Description
We run a little Cafe on a little Island in the northsea near Denmark called Föhr. It‘s a family business and everything we sell is produced by ourselves. Most of the products we use for cooking and baking are organic. Another project is Bird protection. As our island belongs to a Nationalpark many birds come around the year to breed or have a rest. We published a little book to inform the tourists and show them the beauty and diversity of our birds.
Every year we are looking for nice young people to help in the service and get to know our island (may-october).

You would get to know one of the most beautiful islands in the northsea, part of a great nationalpark. The islanders are very nice, openminded people. Besides German they speak their own ferring language. The women wear beautiful costumes when they perform their traditional dances. The islanders love also music and horses. Every summer we have big horse competitions.
When we have our welcome evening with every new workawayer, we love to have them cook something from their area, if they like. We try to show them our island and to get to know things about their countries. That is allways an interesting exchange.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

You should speak German and like to work with different people. Your tasks would be preparing tea /coffee and work as a waiter /waitress. You should be friendly and well organized even if it gets stressfull. As a helper in our business you would get a contract, an insurance and a wage.

A bicycle will help you to discover the island and its beautiful beaches. During the summer there are lots of concerts and other events, as horse competitions and summer festivals.
