  Description

  We are a mixed couple in our fourties living a little outside Bergamo. Salvatore is Italian originally from the region of Calabria in the south of Italy, and Maria is Romanian. We have our own company where we hold courses with certification for the security in the working place. In our free time we like to go to eat out or go for a walk in the mountains or by the lake, sometimes we go shopping in the nearest commercial centre. In general we have quite a calm lifestyle.

  We would like to practice our English and have a cultural exchange with you. You can as well learn Italian and frequent a language course in Bergamo if you are interested.

  Accommodation

  There are two types of accomodation available: one is a small appartment in the basement with private kitchen and bathroom and the other one is a mansard-type room on the roof floor with private bathroom as well. Unfortunately we can`t accept travellers with animals in the house.
  The meals are usually taken together with the other members of the family, there is also the possibility to cook vegetarian and vegan food if needed.

  What else ...

  We are located at 20 minutes by car from the airport of Bergamo. The train station can be easily reached by foot from home, if you want to visit something during your days off. Milan is at 50 km from us. Nearby you can find the famous D`Iseo Lake with many attractions and local agriturismo (farmhouse) with traditional food and farm animals.
