Description
Hello travelers,
We are Sylvia and Summer, the best mom-and-daughter duo you will meet:) We share our wonderful home with 3 Belgian Malinois, and a whole lot of friends, family, and work-away travelers.
Being environmentally conscious, we are proud to be living off the grid and produce our own energy using solar and wind power. We are also learning - every year more successfully - to grow our own fruit and veg which is not as easy to do here as it is in northern Europe.
We host work away travelers to help us mostly in the garden which we have a whole 2 hectares of, and to help us with various things in the house, this being painting, cleaning, some creative projects, or carpentry.
We enjoy the very simple pleasures of life such as time with our dogs, spiritual practices, meditation, listening to books, cooking wholesome food, making pizzas in our outdoor pizza oven, baking fresh sourdough bread, working in the garden, doing up-cycle projects, furniture painting, playing board games and bocce, and watching movies from a projector.

The house is located in the peaceful countryside of Mallorca.
We are 1.2 km from the centre of our town and 1.6km away from the closes bus.
The area is lovely with beautiful views, about 20 min drive from the loveliest beach on Mallorca, Es Trenc. There are too many things to do and enjoy on the island to mention them all here!!

Hello travelers,
I need help with strimming weeds, mowing, and tidying up in the garden.
Also need help in the house with cleaning, reorganizing, painting, etc.
Ideally, I am looking for someone who already has experience with garden tools (strimmer and mower) and who is happy to empty, clean, reorganize, tidy up my cupboards, touch up paint around the house, clean the windows, empty, clean and reorganize my laundry. You need to be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to that because I am;)
IMPORTANT things to KNOW:
1. I ONLY HOST COUPLES - I am sorry single travelers
2. Non-smokers only
3. I am only looking for 3 hours of help per day, for which I offer you a beautiful ensuite bedroom, but I do not offer food.

Best way to get around Mallorca is by rented car or a motorcycle. There are buses that run from Porreres to Palma and other parts of the island too, but obviously car is the easiest. Porreres is a cute little town with a bunch of bars and restaurants in the center.
It gets super busy and popular with tourists during the season. There are over 300 beaches around too, from small and private, very busy ones with bars and long and sandy. Mallorca is also famous for hiking and there are many trails from easy to hard and probably most popular for cyclists.
