    Description

This 3-acre urban farmstead is in downtown Indianapolis and brings together farmstead living, food production and agritourism. Justin the owner and farmer lives on the property and raising food and livestock for local farm-to-table restaurants. The property also has multiple short-term stay options that people rent and stay in to get a first hand look at the lifestyle of a homesteader.

The farm is in need of part-time help for both the farming and tourism aspect of the property. Work would include but not be limited to care and tending to the livestock, working on the stages of produce farming, as well as the management/cleaning/hosting aspects of the of the tourism side of our business.

I have both short-term and long-term stay options available. Just let me know which you are looking for.

The shorter term workawayers (1-3month commitment). This stay accomodation is a bell tent style yurt that has a full size bed, plugs for your phone/laptop, storage space for clothes and items. The bathroom is a short 50' walk to the barn where there is a shower, toilet and sink. There is a common kitchen in the barn.

You will earn $10/hour + accommodation and access to use the produce and eggs you help us raise and grow. Meals are not included beyond the produce and eggs you can use from the farm.

Justin is excited to share the farming knowledge he has gained the last several years and the homestead lifestyle with you!

Workawayers from outside of the US must already have a work visa secured in order to be paid.
