  • Description

    Description

Hi workawayers! We're a family of four, Lars (36), Willemijn (36), Isa (4) and Sofie (0). We are originally from Holland, living in Sunne, Sweden since 3 years. We are renovating an old swedish house at the countryside from top till toe while living in a another house and have small kids which makes our life rich but busy. Help is welcome😃

We love to share our beautiful place (s) with those who love nature and like to experience daily life at the (not too remote) country side of Sweden.

There is of course a lot more to tell, don't hesitate to ask!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The lifestyle at the swedish countryside is a lot different from our former lifes in the Netherlands. We learned since we moved and are eager to share our experience.

Also the swedish nature has a lot to offer: in summer/autumn picking berries and mushrooms, watching birds, outdoor life, hiking, cycling, skiing etc.

We're curious to know more about your background, culture differences, language and more!

We learned Swedish when we moved to Sweden, lost a bit of our English and German skills when learning Swedish, speaking Dutch with the kids. We are always interested in learning new languages or practice the languages we know.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have a little guesthouse to offer, 1 room with bunk bed (140 cm bed below), bathroom, fridge and opportunity to cook an easy meal. It's suitable for 1 -2 persons, maybe 3 if you don't mind sharing a 140 cm bed.

We provide breakfast and lunch after your preferences. The accommodation you're stayinh has a fridge and a small cooking space to make easy meals, coffee and tea.

Would be great to share dinners from time to time!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We live about 15 car minutes from Sunne, a small town with all the shops you need in daily life. The small village we live in does also have a small shop.

To get to Sunne you'll need a car, but we can provide you a lift.

Karlstad, the bigger city is about 45 car minutes away.

The closest (bigger) airport is Oslo, which is 2,5 h drive away.
