Help with homeschooling our two kinds and enjoy life in Greece, Paros

  Description

  Hi, we are a family of 4 from Australia that has been travelling the Mediterranean full time on our sailing boat for the last 3 years. Mid next year 2024, we would like someone to join us in our house on Paros, Greece to help with the homeschooling of the children. Ideally you’ll have some experience in teaching or a degree. We’re not intense or regimented in the schooling curriculum or timing but will work around other adventures we are doing at the time. We expect around 15 hours a week of school activity and then probably the odd child care so the parents can go out occasionally, always happy if you’re also interested in cooking and we’ll all pitch in together for cleaning etc. There will be plenty of time for you to explore solo or with us as we love explore.   We have sailed the Greek islands extensively for the last 3 years so we’ll be happy to share all our favourite spots, well make time for you to go and explore them on your own if you like or with us. We are also planning on some sailing trips to see other islands and meet amazing people around Greece.

  Approximately 15 hours a week of homeschooling our two children - boy 7 and girl 9
  Around 1-2 evenings a week of child minding while the parents are away
  General help around the house with cooking cleaning as you’ll be part of the family.

  Accommodation

  You’ll have your own room with double bed and your own small bathroom (room is in the pictures). Food will be provided but we expect help with preparation.

  Paros is an amazing island to explore. There are also a number of nearby islands that you can do day trips to or stay for a few days when we don't need your help. There are buses on the island but we’ll also be able to lend our car/scooter when needed.
