  Description

  Hi, we are a French couple living in Swedish Lapland, on a small farm in the middle of the forest, near a river and several lakes. We have dogs (pets and sled dogs), 3 cats, 8 sheep, 2 goats, chickens, a horse, and a vegetable garden. We offer accommodation on the upper floor of our house (a bedroom and a separate kitchen, but we will be happy to share some meals if you wish for a more convivial experience). The bathroom is shared (on the ground floor of the house), and we have a composting toilet. We speak French, Italian, English, and Swedish.

  Bonjour, nous sommes un couple de français vivant en Laponie suédoise, dans une petite ferme au milieu de la forêt, proche d'une rivière et de nombreux lacs. Nous avons des chiens (de compagnie et de traineaux),3 chats, 8 brebis, 2 chèvres, des poules, un cheval et un potager. Nous proposons un hébergement á l' étage de notre maison (une chambre et une cuisine indépendante mais certains repas seront partagés si vous le souhaitez pour un échange plus convivial). La salle de bain est partagée (au rez-de-chaussée de la maison), et nous avons des toilettes sèches. Nous parlons français, italien, anglais et suédois.
  Au plaisir de vous lire et peut-être de vous recevoir pour vous faire découvrir un mode de vie simple dans une nature préservée.

  We live in the heart of the forest, surrounded by animals, without a television (we have electricity, running water, and an internet connection). Coming here is an opportunity to take a break and reconnect with what truly matters and with Nature, while enjoying the company of animals and trees. It's also a chance to learn how to care for the animals on a daily basis (feeding them, watering them, checking on them to make sure they're all right, brushing them), to learn how to milk goats and make cheese, to pick berries to make jam, to take the time to cook vegetables grown in the garden... It's also an opportunity to walk in the forest or go fishing in the river.
  
  
  Nous vivons au cœur de la foret, entourés d' animaux, sans télévision (nous avons l' électricité, l' eau courante, et une connexion internet). Venir ici, c' est l' occasion de faire une pause pour se reconnecter à l' essentiel et à la Nature, tout en appréciant la compagnie des animaux et des arbres. C´est aussi l´occasion d' apprendre à s' occuper des animaux au quotidien (les nourrir, les abreuver, les observer pour voir si tout va bien, les brosser), d' apprendre à traire les chèvres et à faire du fromage, de cueillir des baies pour faire des confitures, de prendre le temps de cuisiner les légumes produits par le potager... C'est aussi la possibilités de se promener en forêt ou de pêcher à la ligne sur la rivière.

  Help

  We both work part-time and would be happy to welcome someone (or a couple) who could help us with the daily care of the animals and look after them on the days we are away for work, or so we can take a few days off. Help with the vegetable garden and general property maintenance would also be greatly appreciated.
  
  Nous travaillons tous les 2 à temps partiels et nous serions heureux d' accueillir une personne (ou un couple) qui pourrait nous aider dans les soins quotidiens aux animaux et veiller sur eux les jours où nous sommes absents pour le travail, ou pour pouvoir prendre quelques jours de congés. Un coup de main sur le potager et l' entretien du terrain est aussi le bienvenu.

  We have no problem adapting to specific diets; however, allergies to pet hair, dust mites, dust, or grasses are an issue: we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment for these types of allergens. Smoking is not permitted in the house.
  
  Aucun soucis pour s'adapter à des régimes alimentaires particuliers, en revanche une allergie aux poils d' animaux, aux acariens, aux poussières ou aux graminées est un problème: nous ne pouvons pas garantir un espace sans allergènes de ce type. Il n' est pas permis de fumer dans la maison.
