    Description

We are a couple in the early stages of an eco project, where we are focusing on permaculture principles. We are living a very basic lifestyle in a rural setting. We have been in this place for almost 3 years now, and are open to invite the right person/people to stay with us, either in our house or our van.

We have a variety of materials and are keen to start building a tool shed and outdoor kitchen. We like to build as much as possible with recycled and natural materials, but some projects will be done with cement and more conventional building materials.

Our goal here is to live a more simple & pure lifestyle, and eventually develop a small community of like minded people living as self sustainable as possible with as little as possible.

We would be open to invite a hard working individual, or couple to help maintain the current project and participate in a variety of related projects. In exchange for 5h of work on weekdays we would provide a place to stay and one main meal per day or 20h in total in one week with no meals.

Periodically we will be looking for someone for a farmsit experience; in this case we would open up our house to you, and in return we would ask that you water the garden, as well as feed the dogs, and other animals every day.
The dogs require companionship, and we would ask that they not be left alone too long or too often.

Most of all; we are looking for help around the farm and with construction projects. In this case, we would invite you to stay in our van, or in our 'modified' shipping container.
We can discuss these options in greater detail, and figure out which one is available at the time of your stay.

We're not looking for any form of unfair commitment. A fair and logical arrangement will be agreed upon.
When you are looking to get away; there is a bus stop minutes away and both the highway and beach are within 5 kms.
We do highly recommend a car as it will be easier to travell around this beautiful island.
We are located about 30 minutes from El Medano and the same to Santa Cruz.
