Description
Before we bought a house in a village, I had lived all my childhood in a big city, dreaming of moving to the countryside. I wanted my children to grow up having meadows, mud, farm animals and all the nature around. And I fullfield this dream. We moved into a small house in central Poland, we have 3 children. One is still a toddler but the elder are openminded, enthusiastic, caring and they love nature. I work as an English teacher. I have an experience of homeschooling my eldest son for a year, and that trully was our best time. We have goats, milk them by hand, produce some cottage cheese. We’ve some hens, they lay eggs provided they're in a good mood ;) the rest of the year we buy farm eggs from our neighbours. I try to get as much local food as I can, visiting the market once a week, purchaising all the groceries, grains and meat there . We take big care to reducing plastic income, using reusable containers while shopping etc. - although it has become more difficult as my kids are almost teenagers ;) I’m very interested in permaculture. I’ve taken part in some workshops and try to implement many solutions in our homestead. Yet it’s hard to cope with everything without helping hands. We’ve got a seperate room with exit on a terrace. In summer it is also possible to stay in the outbuilding. If you are wiiling to spend some time living in a polish countryside, helping with everyday chores in the household and in the backyard, exchanging ideas on developing permaculture garden, playing with goats and getting to know our family you are welcome :) Except of that I love playing board games, going for long walks and crocheting.

We live in central Poland. There are pros an cons of that. There in neither a sea nor the mountains in the closest neighbourhood but up to 2-3-4 hours drive you can get to most places in our country. It is a typical polish village, with about 40 hoseholds around, quite far from any city, but not a remote one. There is a river Warta near with rafting opportunities. There are many walking paths and beautiful landscapes with deer running around.

Help
I can speak English and Deutsch, we are not vegetarians (but consume not much meat) but if you are it would be great to learn some cooking hacks on meals for kids for example. You have to get on well with kids.

The room is situated on the groundfloor of our house. There is a seperate exit on a terrace. The kitchen, bathroom you wouls share with the rest of our family. The kitchen is just opposite the room. Kids mostly spend time at the attic where the space is udivided.
What else ...
My husband spends a lot of time working out - that’s the biggest reason it’s hard to develope the garden while I have both kids and house on me. Two kids are attending school, and the youngest stays in preschool toll 12. Kids have also some extra classes, so in some afternoons we visit the nearest city. Typically to any countryside you have to reach most places by car, unless you’re not in a hurry and you can take a walk, or use a bike ;)
At home have many boardgames and books in english (mostly about cooking, gardening, maintaining the farm).A little more information
