Do you want to explore the whole beauty of Norway?
We will show you some of the most beautiful spots of Norway when you come to our beautiful farm in Savalen, which is near Tynset (Hedmark).
You will help riding the horses, care and feed the horses and care about the customers.
The most of the work will be riding and exploring the nature around.
We are organizing horse activities in all of North Østerdal. The main goal is to offer cultural and historical quality experiences with horses for locals and tourists.
Mighty scenery from horseback in the varied and beautiful forests and mountains in the region. Atmospheric sleigh rides in winter nights with starry skies and crisp fresh snow under the runners.
You want to learn Norwegian? No Problem, this is the best place to practice, talking to the customers, having nice People around you who can also talk english and children who never give up trying to show you what they mean in norwegian!!

Help around the house
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
They will learn a lot about horses, riding and everything around. They can also learn norwegian and everything about the cultural life of Norway.
The main help will be riding the horses. Of course there is always some other stuff to do like - cleaning equipment, helping fencing, feeding, little bit of mucking, customer care, cleaning and preparing the house for customers. Needs to have experience in riding.
You will stay in your own room over the barn, which is very cozy and right beside your best friends - the horses! One other worker on the farm lives in the flat right beside you.
You will care about your food by yourself (except the time when we have children at the farm, which is three weeks a year, then we will eat all together). You can have a car when you have time off or if you need to go shopping. Of course Jan (the owner of the farm) or other People working at the farm can show you the area and go for adventures if you want to. (We can recommend that kind of trips) ;-)
Rondane Nationalpark is not far away. And the cuty little city Røros will be on your bucket list.
