Description
Hello! We’re a couple living in a small homestead with our 1,5 years old daughter, dog cat and usually a herd of goats (but they are currently on another farm, one in heaven, we’re taking a break from farming). We’ve been hosting Wwofers and workawayers so we’re really easy going with people in our living space. Had house sitting once before and it was really great experience. I’m 37 kinda intellectual hillbilly and Jonas is 49 post cult standup comedian, window cleaner, YouTuber renaissance man storyteller. The man wears many many hats. We lead a slow paced life concentrated around family life and taking things easy. We have some instruments if you like to make noise, art supplies if you like watercolor or acrylics. - guest house if you want to have guests over. We’d love to find someone for this coming time period as Jonas is going on tour in New Zealand and I am visiting family abroad.

Accommodation
Hei!
Were leaving for a month and are looking for someone who could take care of our dog and cat.
We’re looking for someone who is tidy, enjoys small things (big things too) in life and preferably doesn’t smoke. It’s an old house that needs some getting used to.
We have a pembroke corgi Bobbi, cat Gustav, and some house plants to keep alive. Bobbi likes to sleep with humans while the cat does his own thing. Bobbi hangs around the house during the day but is always up for a hike, just grab a leash and you’re good to go. Gustav might follow you both for a bit.
Bobbi and Gustav get food twice a day, morning and evening.
Checking the mail box by the road once a week.
House
It’s an old farmhouse house in the countryside. It has a beautiful wiev of the lake, and it sits at the edge of the forest.
We warm the house with wood burning stove, so you’ll have to be operating the oven on the living room. There is an electric heater in the other part of the house.
You’ll need a good car to drive up to the house. I have a Toyota rav4 and it works ok. But then we get snowed in cars with low suspension and without 4x4 will not make it.
We’re currently adding an extra bit to the house so there is an addition that is not finished on the inside yet.
There is a really nice living room with a wiev of the lake, two bedrooms, retro bathroom and a kitchen. We also have a wooden guesthouse and a stone guesthouse.
Our farm is called Slettvoll and it’s 10 minutes by car from the nearest store and town which is on the seaside.
It’s perfect for being in nature. Northern lights happen often if that’s what you’d like to see.
What else ...
I’ll be leaving the car if you have experience driving on ice
