Description
We’re Rae and Marcus, an outdoorsy, easygoing family living on a beach front property in Parua Bay, Whangarei.
We have two little ones:
👦 Frank, 3 years old
👶 Skye, 1 year old
We live a relaxed, nature-filled lifestyle here in Northland. Our home is in a peaceful coastal spot, about 30 minutes from Whangarei city. We love spending time at the beach, exploring local walks, camping on weekends, and having friends over for BBQ dinners. Life here is simple, beautiful, and full of small adventures, think sandcastles, sunsets, fish and chips by the water, and plenty of laughs.

Marcus is a born-and-bred Kiwi. Rae is half Taiwanese, half Kiwi and speak fluent Mandarin Chinese. Frank and Skye are a quarter Swedish and speak it.
Au Pair Help
This host is looking for Au pair help.
Help
We’re looking for a kind, caring au pair to join us for two months, from late March to the end of May. This is more of a cultural exchange than a formal nanny role, we’d love you to feel like a big sister to our kids and part of the family.
What you’ll help with :
Playing, engaging, and spending quality time with Frank and Skye
Helping with housework and tidying up
Cooking simple family meals
Joining in on family life, outings and daily rhythms
Hours: 3 longer days + 2 shorter days + 2 days off
