    Description

    Hello! 😊 I’m Antonella

    -Who I’m looking for

I’m looking for one person who can help my family by preparing our daily meals, especially lunch and dinner. I enjoy food that is both healthy and tasty, including simple home-cooked recipes.
I also need help with general household chores and, occasionally, with light gardening.

It is essential that the kitchen and the living room are always kept clean and tidy.

I also have a housekeeper who comes every two weeks, so I am looking for someone who can help keep the house clean, tidy, and well organized on a daily basis.

Please note: I can host only one person at a time.

    -Our Family

I live in Mascalucia, near Catania and Mount Etna, with my partner and our two-year-old son, Lorenzo. We live in a villa with a garden and a swimming pool, close to my parents. My mother is very friendly and speaks English too.

This opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys family life and would appreciate staying in a peaceful, cozy home surrounded by nature.

    -Our Location

One thing to keep in mind is that our home is located in a quiet residential area rather than in the town centre. You won’t step outside and immediately find cafés, shops, or nightlife. There are a few cafés, a supermarket, and even a local fruit and vegetable shop within walking distance, but you’ll need to enjoy a bit of walking. If you love nature, peace, and a slower pace of life, you’ll probably enjoy it here.

Please get in touch only if this sounds like a good match for you—and feel free to tell me what you would enjoy cooking during your stay! 😊

    -About Me

I’m a psychotherapist and meditation coach, and at the moment I work mainly remotely.

Before Lorenzo was born, I used to organize holistic events. I’m passionate about psychology, personal growth, meditation, and spirituality.

I’m pagan, and I’m open-minded and respectful toward all religions and spiritual paths. I enjoy celebrating the lunar cycles, the solstices, and the equinoxes, and I appreciate traditions that help people connect with nature.

I love travelling, meeting people from different cultures, hearing different languages, and discovering new ways of living and thinking.

    -Our Home & Values

I’m gradually making our home more eco-friendly. Whenever possible, I choose environmentally friendly cleaning products, sustainable materials, and more conscious everyday practices.

Also I’m fascinated by folklore and herbal traditions. For example, I like preparing the traditional guazza di San Giovanni with wild herbs (you can see a photo on my profile).

One of the reasons I enjoy hosting people from different countries is that I love the idea of my son growing up surrounded by different cultures, languages, and ways of life. I believe these experiences help children develop curiosity, openness, and respect for diversity from an early age.

    -Life With Us

If you are interested, I’d also be happy to invite you to join some of the activities I enjoy in my free time. Depending on the period, this might include excursions on Mount Etna, family dinners, pizza nights with friends, sharing a coffee together, or taking part in a yoga or meditation session. Participation is, of course, completely optional, but you’re always welcome to join us.
