  Description

  You will be staying with myself (Kate) and 2 children - Jai 13 and Zara 11. We live on the Gold Coast in the suburb of Oxenford. Its a nice, quiet area, with good transport and easy access to Surfers Paradise, Southport and Brisbane, but we are also only a 20min drive to the Gold Coast Hinterland.

  The person who stays with us would get to experience Australian family life. They would be welcome to enjoy the weekend activities we do - bushwalking, trips to the beach, in the Summer months we enjoy going to nearby rainforest rock pools to swim as well as day to day life - going to the beach for a walk, going to the shops etc.

  Help

  I am looking for someone to help with my kids a couple of days a week (2-3). They are 13 & 11 and in the mornings, they need to be supervised getting ready and off to school, in the afternoons getting home from school and if I have a late or night shift, supervising dinner, showers and bedtime.

  Accommodation

  I am offering a room with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers. The bathroom has a shower and bath and is shared with the children. We have unlimited Wifi in the house.
  I will have food in the fridge and pantry, so please help yourself for breakfast and lunch. I will make meals in the evening for us all.
  Would love you to cook us a meal from your country occasionally!
  The children are learning Italian and Japanese at school and I have lived in Japan so know basic Japanese.

  What else ...

  As mentioned above, we live in Oxenford, transport is excellent in the area, we have a bus service called 'On demand Bus' which will come to the house when you book it and take you to the train/tram station. The station is located at Westfield Helensvale, a local shopping centre and there is access to the train to Brisbane and tram which runs into Southport, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, all popular hubs on the Gold Coast for shopping, the beach, nightclubs and restaurants.
  The theme parks (Wet n Wild, Movieworld, Dreamworld, White Water world, Top Golf, Outback Spectacular) are all 5-10mins down the road from our house.
  We are also 20mins from the Gold Coast Hinterland where there is rainforest, bushwalking tracks, waterfalls, rock pools, it is beautiful up there.
  There is a lot for you to do in your spare time! I have surfboards if you would like to try surfing and pushbikes if you would like to go for a ride.
