With the Irish sea and the Wicklow mountains right on your doorstep there are many group trips based in the area that bring you hiking or on seaside adventures. Take a Kayak around the rugged coast or visit Killiney Hill past Bonos house or nearby Dalkey Island, climb up Bray Head or visit the beautiful grounds of historical Kilruddery House.

Help
We would love someone to come stay for one month starting around Oct 19th, to take care of Pancake our cat while we are away. Like most cats, he's fairly easy to look after and just needs to make sure he's fed daily, gets some affection and is locked in at nighttime . Pancake is shy at first but once he knows you he is very friendly. He's also housetrained with a cat flap, so no litter trays!
Tasks
1. Food
He likes to eat Felix 3 times a day, but he can also be flexible on that if you ask him nicely and leave out lots of cat biscuits!
2. Lock him in at night (especially around Halloween)
He doesn't tend to wander further than our small back garden and if you bang a spoon off a dinner plate he runs in quicker than lightening!
3. Cuddles!
He is a lap cat once he's done being afraid of you.
There is no other work involved and you would be free to come and go as you please once Pancake needs are met.

Accommodation
We have just moved into an old Victorian house on a lovely street full of Victorian and Georgian homes. Unfortunately however, it's did not come with a great heating system and its dated and quite basic (we plan to renovate). The living room does however have a wood burning stove and there is a gas portable heater for the bedroom. So you would need to be ok with this setup (maybe extra jumpers, throws or double duvets) during your stay.
On the bright side there is Hi Speed Wifi, TV with all the channels, Netflix, Comfy Double bed with brand new mattress, dishwasher, hot electric shower and you have the house to yourself. You are also welcome to help yourself to any food items in the kitchen. It's a great location 100m from the seafront with many cafes, activities and a busy library 5 mins walk away.
What else ...
We're a 4 min walk away Bray train and bus station so lots to see and do and easy to get around. You can visit Bray head, neighbouring Dalkey or Greystones, sea swim or visit the local saunas.
