Description
We are a couple who wants to share the opportunities that life offers them. We work with basic solar energy, we have cisterns and a basic dry bathroom. We have a cat (Pandora), 5 dogs and 3 ducks. oh! And our partner Pablo and his son Felix. The house is surrounded by nature and 15 minutes from the city of La Paz with its beautiful bay where you will have restaurants, bars, ice cream parlor, pharmacies, bakery, grocery stores, etc. A few km away you will find movie beaches.

Somos una pareja que quiere compartir las oportunidades que les va ofreciendo la vida. Funcionamos con energía solar básica, contamos con cisternas y baño seco básico. Tenemos una gata (Pandora), 5 perros, 6 patos. Ah! Y nuestro socio Pablo y su hijo Felix.
La casa está rodeada de naturaleza y a 15min en auto de la ciudad de La Paz con su hermoso malecón, donde tendrás restaurantes, bares, heladería, farmacias, panadería, abarroterías, etc. A pocos km encontrarás playas de película.

You can practice your Spanish with three different accents (Mexico, Guatemala and Venezuela) which will help you understand more Spanish-speaking people. You can take walks through the desert. You will be in direct contact with nature and its sounds. La Paz is a very welcoming and quiet city, the walks around the bay are the best and if you have a good budget you can take a boat trip to see the marine fauna and enjoy the best beaches.
Puedes practicar tu español con tres acentos distintos (México, Guatemala y Venezuela) lo que te ayudará a entender a más personas de habla hispana. Puedes realizar caminatas por el desierto. Estarás en contacto directo con la naturaleza y sus sonidos. La Paz es una Ciudad muy acogedora y tranquila, los paseos por el malecón son los mejores y si tienes buen presupuesto puesdes hacer algún viaje en lancha a ver la fauna marina y disfrutar de las mejores playas. Imagina nuestro espacio como un retiro en el desierto. Algunos voluntarios han rentado moto para moverse más fácil.

Build if you know how to do it, shovel dirt, fix roads, flatten spaces.

Tod@s l@s voluntari@s deben hacer la limpieza de los espacios colectivos y el bnb. Tenemos un Loft en renta y un bus. Nuestro jardín es muy extenso por lo que será una labor que ocupará gran parte del tiempo, recoger heces de los perros para evitar las moscas y leña para los huéspedes. También necesitamos cuiden el lugar en nuestra ausencia y atiendan a los huéspedes que no hablen español si hablan su idioma. Mimar a las mascotas. Construir si sabes hacerlo, palear tierra, arreglar caminos, aplanar espacios.

It is variable, at the moment we use the loft and the bus when it is not rented and a cave-like basement. Very basic bathroom. At the moment we shower in the bnb that is unoccupied or with a bucket. You will have water to drink (Do not buy bottles, less plastic is possible), salt, sugar, oil. Shared two-burner stove for you to prepare your food. We usually share some meals or have competitions for who cooks the richest. It's like camping in the desert.

Es variable, por el momento usamos el loft y el bus cuando no se renta y un sótano tipo cueva. Baño muy básico. por el momento nos duchamos en el bnb que esté desocupado o con cubeta. Tendrás agua para beber (No compres botellas, menos plástico es posible), sal, azucar, aceite. Estufa de dos hornillas compartida para que prepares tus alimentos. Solemos compartir algunas comidas o hacer competencias de quien cocina más rico. Es como acampar en el desieto.
