    Description

We are a family farm who is looking for someone who is motivated to come and help us with our purebred cattle operation. We want someone who can help with cattle management on a day to day basis - feeding, bedding, health checks, calving cows (night & day); we are willing to teach someone if they have little experience.

We are located near Smoky Lake Alberta, not far from Edmonton, we want someone who will also be considered a part of our family. We treat all of our workers like a member of the family, you will attend all family events we have (if you want to obviously) but we don't ever want someone to feel like they are unwelcome.

We are a very family based operation, and we want you to feel like a part of it! We always have small family gatherings, so you will have kids around, we like to be social and get together! We will try get you in contact with some locals in your age range so that you are able to go out and visit so you can have some time away when or if you need.

We are willing to teach you all about purebred cattle, hopefully we can teach you a thing or two! We also will ask you 100 questions about you and your life! We sincerely do want you to feel like family, not just a worker!

    Help

What you will be helping with:
    - Assisting during calving - check basic new born care
    - Feed cows - maintaining feeding areas and bedding
    - General Ranch chores - fencing, bedding, yard work
    - Helping where needed day to day - things can change quick on a farm with weather and cattle so daily routines will vary

We are willing to pay you competitively; we would start a worker at $20 per hour but depending on your experience salary may increase with experience
