We have a small hobby farm with a few cows and horses and we are on a path to live self sustainability. We eat from the vegetable garden. We are trying to regenerate our land, create bio diversity and a safe place for wild life.
Come learn some of the skills, knowledge and terminology that may help you get a job on an outback cattle station. We've had volunteers for the past 10 years so we understand how to teach people new skills and negotiate the language barrier.

We have done alot of charity work with horses and riding for the disabled.
UNFORTUNATELY THERE ISN'T ANY HORSE HELP NEEDED AT THE MOMENT

We are in central Qld on a small hobby farm. Comfortable basic furnished accommodation available or bring your own van/bus/car. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful area. Just 15km to beach and boat ramp. Plenty of time to explore the surrounding areas.
We are very friendly, down to earth and genuine people. We have a very quiet little farm with a bunch of different animals. You will also see wallabies, kookaburras, amazing sunsets and bright starlight nights.

• You must be able to support yourself financially
• We are not a business, we don't make any money from our hobby farm
This is a very quiet farm, it`s hot and dry, we sometimes have water restrictions, sometimes it rains alot, there`s no public transport, no neighbours and no shops.
There is no WIFI however there is full reception for Telstra and Optus on your mobile phone.
If you need entertainment in a social setting this isn`t the place for you. You must enjoy your own company be reliable, honest and trustworthy.

We provide opportunities for you to learn valuable farm skills that are listed in the main description.
English: Fluent
You'll have your own fully furnished bedroom, bathroom, open air lounge & kitchen all built in a large livable shed. There are kitchen and laundry facilities available for you to use.
You will be required too keep your cottage very clean this includes washing dishes, cleaning walls, kitchen, lounge and bathroom plus sweeping out.
Activities available on farm are bush walking, jogging, swimming in the dam, bird watching, patting cows & tree climbing.
