Since the foundation year in 2013, we help sea turtles to reproduce successfully by doing regular night patrols in the nesting season and relocating nests to our hatchery, if necessary. Since sea turtles are highly endangered worldwide and their eggs are an eligible prey for animals as well as humans, we have to take care for the eggs and let them hatch under controlled and safe conditions. As soon as the babies hatch, they are immediately released safely to the ocean.

Since 2017, we have begun to expand our English Teaching program. We offer a free social school for local children, many are orphans or from very low socio-economic families. We need English speaking teachers to create and deliver classes to approx 20 students at a time. You do not require teaching degree, just the motivation and passion to engage with the students and help advance English Literacy.

Our Mission for this teaching program is to improve employment prospects which benefits the individuals and our community greatly. By speaking better English, our students can find work in Bali in the big Tourism business and also become candidate for hospitality jobs on cruise ships. Traditional Balinese family structure is different to Western standards. Children grow up to work and support their immediate and extended families. Good employment offers the chance for future generations to have access to higher education and reduce family debt.

We have big ideas for our property and community and are very interested to host individuals with experience and vision to develop short or long term projects. This is good for passionate and creative individuals that are motivated to put ideas into practice. This could include organic farming, animal care, soil improvement project, composting project, creating specific agro business for local products, assisting in new construction and renovation projects. We have some land that needs conversion to new purpose.
