  Description

  We are a family with 4 horses, 4 children, 3 dogs, 2 parents, 2 cats, around 100.000 bees and 1 grandmother. We recently bought a house in the middle of the beautiful Palatinate Forest (wolves and lynxes in the neighbourhood) with a lot of ground and a lot of trees.
  
  Now we wishfully want to create a peaceful, meaningful, ecological place where everybody is invited to take a rest. And so we are looking for help. We start with permaculture, make our own firewood and also work on a biodynamic vineyard. We mainly eat vegan and vegetarian, sometimes venison, but we have no problems with if s.o. eats meat. We are non-smokers (except grandmother, but she does is secretly far away from the house) and we drink alcohol in moderation, manly wine, because the parents work both in the wine sector.

  We live very (!) rural, but near to cultural interesting areas. Cinemas, theaters, concerts, museums of all kinds are reachable with a little effort by bus and train or by car and we can join it together. We would love to show you our region.
  
  Best known hiking region/ we have a public outside swimmingpool in a moat five minutes away / inside swimming pool 15 minutes

  Help

  Main and daily tasks would be to care about the horses (mucking out, feeding, check water). If you have enough practice, riding will be possible. They also love long walks. (We have only ponies so the weight level ist 60 kg.) We always go out so you can discover nature on a horse back. Also gardening and a little bit of household as it is needed in a big family. The other big helping part ist that we have a lot of building projects in planning where your help would be very welcome.

  Accommodation

  We can offer a beautiful room with a king-size bed. Couples are welcome! Please consider that our house is a construction side, so we have areas in the house, beside the bed- and bathrooms, which seem not very homelike. You have to share one of two bathrooms with the family. In winter we heat with wood. It is cosy but very special!

  What else ...

  Bus station and train station are reachable. We also can give you rides.
  
  Please understand that we expect a MINIMUM STAY of A MONTH because of the complexity of caring about our horses. Also for our children ist it easyer to deal with persons they know a little bit longer/better. Relationship needs time to grow!
