    Description

We are a young family with 2 kids, age 2 and 4, both working full time in challenging jobs. Robin works in the food industry and Cathrine with innovation at a state agency. To make our daily life fit together we would like to have help mainly with cooking our family meals, cleaning and general help around the house and garden. If you feel comfortable with kids it would also be greatly appreciated if you want to play with one of the kids for shorter periods.

We live in a cozy suburb in the Stockholm Archipelago, just 200m from the beach and ocean. There are also multiple forests at a short distance by bike (which you are free to borrow from us). Nature and the environment is one of our big interests so we spend a lot of time in the forest.

Robin is also a part time musician (drummer) and we have a well equipped music studio in the house with a piano, PA-system, as well as guitar and base amplifiers. So if you play any instrument you are very welcome to join in and jam with us, or practice your instrument at your own convenience.

We are a very open and international family, having lived collectively for 5 years with housemates from all around the world. As we are both Swedish we will of course teach you all about the way of life here, traditions, food, history and politics.

The house we live in is divided into 2 apartments, we as a family live on one floor and on the other we have 3 housemates. Currently 2 of them are Swedish students and the third is a priest from Nigeria.

Feel free to practice your Swedish with us, and we would also love to practice our German or Italian skills. Robin is half Austrian, but born and raised in Sweden, so he always needs more practice with his German.

    Accommodation

You will live in our newly built separate 40 sqm apartment above our garage, there you have your own bedroom with a bed and workplace, bathroom, entry hall with 2 large wardrobes and a full kitchen/living room. One of us has our home office in the living room, where we will sit and work between 9-17 on weekdays, the rest of the time you will have the entire space to yourself. There is unlimited high speed internet available.

We will eat all meals together in the main house, so you will mainly support us for about 1hr during breakfast time between 08.00-09.00 and then after kindergarden for 3-4 hours, roughly between 16.00-19.00. For weekends you are also very welcome to join us for meals, or if you choose to cater for yourself in your house is up to you.

We live in an affluent suburb in the Stockholm Archipelago, just 200m from the beach and ocean. There are also multiple forests at a short distance by bike (which you are free to borrow from us). Nature and the environment is one of our big interests so we spend a lot of time in the forest. During the summer we love to go around to several different beaches in the area, and you can also take a bus that goes out to several wonderful islands in the archipelago by ferry.

If you like watersports we also have a Kayak that you are free to borrow and explore the surrounding waters with. We also have Mountainbikes if you want to explore the nearby forests.

The house is 300m from the commuter train station, which takes about 30 minutes to the city center, so it is very easy to go into town at any time.

The local village center with all kinds of shops, dentist, doctor etc, is only 1 km away, so it is easy to cater to all daily needs without going into Stockholm Center.
