    Description

We are a young family with 2 kids, age 4 and 6, both working challenging jobs. Robin works in the food industry and Cathrine with innovation at a state agency. We also share our house with a very friendly and playful cat.

At the moment there are a number of building projects going on in the garden so we are primarily looking for someone with experience or interest in carpentry/woodworking. Right now we are building an outdoor kitchen and green house with recycled old windows, so if you want to work with this you are very welcome in June, July and August (2023)! The green house is almost finished, but we need someone with good woodworking experience to do the last finishing to make it look fantastic! =)

We live in a cozy suburb in the Stockholm Archipelago, just 200m from the beach and ocean. There are also multiple forests at a short distance by bike (which you are free to borrow from us). Nature and the environment is one of our big interests so we spend a lot of time in the forest.

Robin is also a part time musician (drummer) and we have a well equipped music studio in the house with a piano, PA-system, as well as guitar and base amplifiers. So if you play any instrument feel free to join in and jam with us, or practice your instrument at your own convenience.

We are a very open and international family, having lived collectively for 5 years with housemates from all around the world. As we are both Swedish we will of course teach you all about the way of life here, traditions, food, history and politics.

The house we live in is divided into 2 apartments, we as a family live on one floor and on the other we have room for 3 housemates. During the semesters it is mainly occupied by students, but during June-August we will probably have 1-2 Workawayers most of the time.

We are a young family with 2 kids, age 4 and 6, both working challenging jobs, so we don't have much time to fix things around the house. There are a number of construction projects going on in the garden, so at the moment we are foremost looking for someone with experience in carpentry/woodworking.

The goal for the summer 2023 is to build an outdoor kitchen and finish the greenhouse made out of old windows!

We will offer to eat all meals together, or you can choose to eat when you prefer, there will always be lots of food, snacks etc in the fridge, You are very free to plan your work days, if you would like more days off and work longer some days or the other way around, its up to you!

We live in an affluent suburb in the Stockholm Archipelago, just 200m from the beach and ocean. There are also multiple forests at a short distance by bike (which you are free to borrow from us). Nature and the environment is one of our big interests so we spend a lot of time in the forest. During the summer we love to go around to several different beaches in the area, and you can also take a bus that goes out to several wonderful islands in the archipelago by ferry.

If you like watersports we also have a Kayak that you are free to borrow and explore the surrounding waters with. We also have Mountainbikes if you want to explore the nearby forests.

The house is 300m from the commuter train station, which takes about 30 minutes to the city center, so it is very easy to go into town at any time.

The local village center with all kinds of shops, dentist, doctor etc, is only 1 km away, so it is easy to cater to all daily needs without going into Stockholm Center.
