We are a family of four who need some help fixing our cabin/summerhouse in the wild. This is a great opportunity for nature lovers (especially fishers), who don't fear mosquitoes.

The cultural experience will be one of solitude in a distant house in the wilderness in Lapland in the north of Sweden, with great fishing possibilities, and overall a wonderful nature experience(minus the mosquitoes). The experience is also that of a time travel. The house is not connected to the power grid, but have an installed solar panel for light and cellphone charging. The water in the lake is used for washing, dishwashing and cleaning. There is only an outdoor toilet, and the food is cooked on an iron stove.
Painting, both outdoor and indoor plus putting up wallpaper inside.

The house is not connected to the power grid, but have an installed solar panel for light and cellphone charging. The water in the lake is used for washing, dishwashing and cleaning. There is only an outdoor toilet, and the food is cooked on an iron stove. You will have a private room for the whole stay, and most of the days you will have the whole hose for your self. We will provide food, but the guest may prepare the meals themself most of the time.
In your time of you can go fishing in the lake Giertsjaure and the river Giertsbäcken. Great possibilities to catch salmon trout, white fish, bass and pike. Hiking to a mountaintop to experience the midnight sun in the summer. Reading books, writing and contemplating. Enjoy the silence and being a part of the nature. We can pick up guests at the airport or train/bus station in Lycksele. Once located in the cabin there are no means of public transportation during the stay. Of course we will be standby to pick up guests for transportation if needed during the stay. We are generally looking for help for a min. of 1 week and a max. of 2 weeks
