    Description

We are a family of three living with our six hens in northern Germany, close to the North Sea. We have a spacious home with plenty of room for guests and truly enjoy having people around us and sharing our everyday life with others. We especially welcome families with children, but we are also happy to meet solo parents and other open-minded travellers.

We are a nature-loving family and try to live a sustainable and mindful lifestyle. We enjoy cycling together, discovering new hobbies and spending time outdoors. My husband loves water sports, especially kitesurfing, while the three of us also enjoy simply being at home, making our house more and more cosy and creating our own little version of a Slow Family Life.

At the same time, we love exploring the world in our campervan. It doesn’t always have to be a long journey or a faraway destination – we also enjoy discovering Germany and all the beautiful places that are right on our doorstep.

For us, life is about enjoying the simple things, spending quality time together, being curious, sharing experiences and making wonderful memories with the people we meet along the way.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You can learn about keeping chickens and creating and developing a garden from scratch. Most importantly, we hope to share a wonderful time together as equals, with an open mind and a sense of community. We are not looking for a hierarchy, but for a friendly and enjoyable experience where everyone can learn from each other.

    Our surroundings

Our area is perfect for cycling, with completely flat countryside all around us. There is also a beautiful lake right in our village.

Bremerhaven is just 10 minutes away by car or about 20 minutes by bus. It offers plenty of attractions, including the German Emigration Center, the Climate House and the Zoo am Meer, as well as swimming pools, good restaurants and much more.

The North Sea is only about 20 minutes away by car, so there are plenty of opportunities for day trips and exploring the coast.
