Summer Nanny Needed in Beautiful Mallorca – 1 Month (Late June / Early July)

Hello! We are a friendly Polish–British family living in the beautiful village of Alaró in the Tramuntana mountains, Mallorca.
We run a busy property management business and during our peak summer season we are looking for a mature, responsible and energetic nanny to join our home for about one month.

You will mainly spend time with our fun, smart and energetic 6-year-old daughter Phoebe, and help care for our lovely 11-year-old dog Coco.

Phoebe loves swimming, playing, exploring and being active, so she connects best with people who enjoy talking, playing games, being outdoors and keeping up with her energy.

    Your main tasks
    • Driving Phoebe to and from summer school (9:00–14:00)
    • Spending time with her in the afternoons or evenings (flexible schedule)
    • Swimming with her in the pool or sea
    • Walking our dog Coco (3 short walks daily)
    • Preparing simple healthy meals for Phoebe
    • Helping with very small household tasks (we have a weekly cleaner)

    Important requirements
    • Experience with children around 6 years old
    • Driving licence for manual car and confidence driving locally (very narrow roads)
    • Good swimmer
    • Comfortable and experienced with dogs
    • Happy to help with small daily tasks
    • Able to prepare simple healthy meals

Please only apply if you genuinely enjoy spending time with children and feel confident around dogs.

    What we offer
    • 1 month stay in Mallorca
    • Private room in our home
    • Payment higher than the standard au pair rate in Spain
    • 2 days off per week
    • A beautiful village surrounded by mountains and nature

Our home is quiet, respectful and family-focused, so this role would suit someone who enjoys a calm lifestyle rather than a party environment.

We will arrange a few WhatsApp calls to get to know each other and make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.

If you enjoy children, dogs, sunshine and an active family environment, we would love to hear from you ☀️

Because this is an important period for our business, reliability and good communication are extremely important to us.

When writing to us, please tell us a little about your experience with children aged 5–7 and your experience with dogs.

We live in Alaró, a beautiful village in the heart of Mallorca, surrounded by the stunning Tramuntana mountains. It’s a vibrant place with lovely cafés, great restaurants, and a very friendly international community. Our house is just a 2-minute walk from the main square, where there are always people enjoying the village atmosphere.
Alaró is perfect if you enjoy hiking, cycling, nature, yoga or pilates, as there are many classes, trails and weekend activities nearby. During the summer the village also hosts several fiestas and local events, which makes it a very lively and fun place to live.
Because there is a strong international community, it’s easy to meet other au pairs and young people in the area, especially if you speak English or Spanish.
There is a bus from Alaró to the nearest train station, which takes you directly to Palma, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Palma offers fantastic markets, galleries, museums, concerts and restaurants. We will also often invite you to join us on beach trips or excursions around the island when possible.
Mallorca itself has an incredible variety of things to enjoy — beautiful beaches, vineyards with wine tastings, mountain walks, nature parks, and charming villages to explore.
It’s a wonderful place to spend time if you love nature, culture, good food and an active lifestyle.

You will have a large private bedroom and your own bathroom in our home.
We are a family that loves food and enjoys cooking and eating together. At the moment we mostly follow a lactose-free and gluten-free diet, and Phoebe and I cannot eat eggs, but otherwise we enjoy all kinds of food.

To keep things simple during our busy season, we would prefer someone who is flexible and easy-going with food and does not follow a strict vegetarian/vegan diet or have significant food allergies.
