Description
In end Sept. 2024, I moved to a nice 4-room apartment located 400m from the sea, in the Cros de Cagnes area. It is new (it had never been lived in before me) and although I have done a lot of work on the development, there is still to do.
It has a big balcony (16m2) on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator.
We can see the sea from the balcony.
It is located near all shops and public transport. I have bikes I can lend for daily trips.
I need someone to help my aspie son (nearly 19yo) from Sept. to an undefined end date. He has a lot of trouble socializing, and the idea would be to help him in this regard, i.e.,
- Go shopping with him with the hope that he'll eventually do it on his own
- Help him connect with others, both in and outside of his activities
- Take swimming lessons with him (which I pay for) to build a bond between you.
Note that he has no mental disabilities, he is fully autonomous in his daily life (going to the uni/swimming pool, eating, cooking basic stuff, washing himself, etc).
In order to create a bond with him, the person must be close in age, male or female, and have important human qualities, among them : empathy, patience, altruism.
Also, if possible, I would need help to shop and prepare meals.

A little bit about me and my family
I've got 2 kids: my daughter Émilie is 21yo and after a degree in law has decided to take a gap year before getting back to the university to learn psychology and my son Julien just turned 18yo, I have alternating custody of him every other week.
Émilie is bilingual French/English as she spent more than 1 year in the UK and 1.5 months in Australia totally immersed in families, also she obtained an International Baccalaureate (OIB) in 2021 and a degree in law in Spring 2024.
Julien has Asperger's syndrome, level 1, i.e., mild, but he is very comfortable with the people he knows. He's just entered the History College in Sept. 2024.
My mother was Spanish, and traveling is part of my DNA. We all love traveling and meeting new people.
Family and friendship are an important parts of my life. I'm doing my best to maintain good relationships with my relatives and also like to meet new people. Exchanging, sharing, discovering, learning, and understanding are essential for me. I find my balance between work (as R&D engineer), family and friends, sports, and music. Initially more of a musician than a sportswoman (I play the piano and the oboe), sports have become more important in my life in the last few years: I love to swim, I run regularly and above all I travel almost exclusively by bike. I am very sensitive to ecology at all levels and do my best to protect the planet and my loved ones.
I like to cook but have little time for it so I usually prepare simple organic meals.
I don't smoke and smoking is not allowed in the apartment nor the balcony.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
I am looking for someone who can help my aspie son help him with his socialization. Also if you can shop and prepare some meals that would be great.
I might also ask for help to set up this new apartment.

The job tasks were good and we did the time management on our own, which was quite nice.
He helped me painting several rooms and fixing few things in the house. I highly recommend him and was really sad he left!
On top of this, he is a good cook ! He prepared a good Brazilian dish for us!
