Sail through the Aegian Sea on a comfortable sailing yacht in Greece, explore nature and culture, enjoy sun and ocean, learn how to handle a sailing yacht and how to live on a boat.
Types of help and learning opportunities
General Maintenance
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The cultural versatility of Greece and its beautiful nature in every respect speaks for itself. In addition I can teach you German, some guitar and basically - how to live off the grid!
Help
Maneuvers, navigation, taking helm, cooking, domestic help like doing dishes, groceries, provisioning, cleaning cabins, galley, heads, cockpit, deck.
I do not necessarily expect experience in sailing but if you have it is a plus. If not you must be willing to learn how to assist in maneuvers, navigation, taking the helm, servicing nautical equipment, small repairs, general maintainance and domestic work on the boat. I do expect that you can cook some meals. I keep the boat tidy inside and outside and I expect the same attitude from the crew.
Best if you are in your end-twenties at least but you may contact me if you are younger provided you have experience of managing a household (even on boats there is domestic work!) and are not a smartphone addict. If you can’t leave your phone alone for a couple of hours please do not contact me.Languages spoken

On a sailing yacht, in a private cabin. It's a spacious 45-footer with amenities like two bathrooms, hot shower, cooker, fridge, stereo, TV, AC. Due to solar panels and generator autonomous from shore power. Accomodation is free but absolutely non-smoking/vaping.
A word to food: Any diet is fine but vegan is difficult because it makes cooking joint crew meals complicated.
Cost for food will be shared among all persons on board during your stay, so food is not provided.
Working hours per day will not exceed 3 hours cumulatively ... if this lifestyle can be called "work" at all ...
Update 10/04/25: At this point in time there is no more capacity on board until the beginning of September, but it is too early to make crew plans for that month. Still you may apply and I will make a shortlist in case I need people. What else ...
Exploring beaches, cliffs, mountains, villages and ancient historical places, lots of swimming, snorkeling, hiking, climbing , cruising on a motorcycle.
