Description
Update: Available dates are from 01/07 to 31/08.The applications need to start from the first days of July.Minimum stay is one month but if someone wants to stay for both months is also convenient.
Notice: At that moment we can't host more than one Workawayer per time so if you have a couple account please do not apply.
We are going to give priority to workawayers with flexible program and probably to someone who would like to stay for a longer period.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our cuisine is traditional greek so we can't host workawayers who are on vegan or vegetarian diet
Description:
Come and help us in our small family business in the gorgeous island of Leros
We have a small family hotel at Leros, 200 meters away from the beach.
My name is Michael and i am also a workawayer and i decided recently to join as a host.I am running this place the last five years with my father and my mother.Sometimes my sister helps me when she is on the island.We have also two beautiful cats.
We want help mostly cleaning the guest rooms and sometimes welcoming our guests at the mornings.
The working enviroment is relaxed with positive vibes.
Good knowlegde of English language is required. Italian are also very welcome.I can teach you the basics of the Greek language.I am also highly interested to learn the German language.
Digital nomads are accepted.
Leros is a beautifull traditional small greek island which has great history from the ancient years until the WWII with many historic attractions and museums.
There is an airport that connects the island with Athens with two fligths per day and its close to Kos,Rhodes and Samos where there are big international airports which are connected with aiports from all Europe.There is also daily sea connection with many islands and Athens too.
We are offering wage per every working hour.So you need to have a visa or a passport with you.
Specifically we pay 5 euro per every working hour.
We provide one indipendent apartment (35 square meters),fully equipment with its own kitchen,washing machine and private bathroom.Wifi is free and available all the time.We offer also breakfast and lunch but keep in mind that meat and fish are very important incredients of the greek kitchen if you are vegetarian or vegan.There are some days that we cook vegetarian dishes.You can give us also a list of things that you may need and we will buy that for you from the local super market.
We really appreciate book lovers, as my mother is a big fan of literature you can find a big variaty of books written in English in our library.
Minimum stay is one month but if someone wants to stay the whole summer in our place is also more convinient for us.
Our place and my family has a happy and joyful energy and we love to live in positive vibes,so we are really prefer people with the same positive energy.

During the time here you will learn all the basics around the field of tourism and hospitality and we can give a certification for your help here.
I can also teach you the basic of the greek language.
Leros is a gorgeous historic island at the Aegean Sea. Cause of its strategic position there were many conflicts in the island at the past,especially during the WWII. So you can find many historic attractions and museums.
The beauty of the island is just breathtaking. As is not so famous as other greek islands, Leros is a hidden gem.
