I live just out of Bega with my two children aged 10 and 6. My property is 8.8 acres and contains a mixture of native bush land, planted native garden, netted fruit orchards and vegetable gardens. We have a few chickens and many wild, native animals such as wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and about 100 different species of birds. I work as a primary school teacher, part time, and I am also studying Social Work.

Help around the house
The Bega Valley, where we live, is a beautiful place for people to visit. We are close to the coast and the mountains. Bush walking and bike riding is available as well as swimming and surfing.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
My children and I love having other people come and stay with us, and I can always use the help with the care of the children, around the house and in the garden.
We have a spare bedroom in our house that has its own ensuite, walk in wardrobe and balcony. You will need to share the kitchen and living spaces with myself and my children.
It is best to have your own car when visiting this area, however, if you do not, I will be able to give you a lift to different places.
