Description
Description Hello, my name is Raad. My family and I run our own Bedouin camp in the majestic desert of Wadi Rum. We offer Jeep, Camel, Hot Air Balloon, and Hiking tours.
We would love some volunteers to help us with our day to day work at home and in the desert at our camp.
Also some help to create and update our websites and social media and teach me the best way to use these tools! ، I hope to see you soon! :DTypes of help and learning opportunities
Language practice
Animal Care
Farmstay help
Help around the house
Hospitality/Tourism
Help with Computers/ Internet
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
All our volunteers are treated as a part of my large family which will give you a great impression of the traditional Bedouin lifestyle, The children are always eager to teach you some words in Arabic. I also encourage you to explore Wadi Rum village and to join in on our desert tours where you will meet people from all over the world and learn from the guides all about the long history and interesting way of life we lead!
Help
As a Bedouin I learned to speak English from the tourists. It`s enough for a normal conversation, but not to read and write properly, as I would like to. I would be grateful to find volunteers who can help me to improve my English. Volunteers main tasks would be helping in and around the house, care for our animals and garden as well as cleaning after tours. Help with online media marketing also would be useful!

Volunteers will stay in our newly finished guest house attached to my own family home in Wadi Rum village. You will have your own mattress, pillow, and blanket and anything else you need. When we spend the night at our Desert Camp you will have your own Bedouin Tent with a bed. We will always offer you 3 meals a day with tea.
What else ...
Volunteers can join our Jeep and Camel tours for free, and in your free time are welcome to walk the many desert trails or stroll through the village. You can also get a quick trip to both Aqaba and Petra as buses leave the village daily.
