We are a couple of two guys looking for English native speakers who want to spend a nice time in a rural area of Cantabria (50 km from Santander). Our house is in the surroundings of Cabezon de la Sal (10 km, have a look on Google Maps), and we have a lovely full equiped caravan placed in our orchard to host other guys. We accept prefereably guys from Canada, New Zealand, Australia, USA and Switzerland (bievenues aussi les francophones!), our next destinations. In exchange of your English lessons everyday, we offer you a total accomodation and the opportunity of being a part of our lifes (and our dogs’ life too. We have 3 of them -one Spanish shepherd and two Border Collies). Of course, you could also collaborate with the common works in our vegetable garden.
You could enjoy a very calm and relaxing stay in a rural area, far from big cities, but also close to the Atlantic beautiful sand beaches (Oyambre Natural Park, San Vicente de la Barquera, Liencres dunes...). We enjoy meeting guys from other nationalites and cultures, so language learning is a good way for this purpose.
Our first experience with another site was awful. In order to avoid misunderstanding, we are looking for nice, clean and committed guys to teach a language. We are not asking you for physical work/help, neither animal caring or similar. But there would be a real commitment. If not, we won't take your request in consideration.
Our house is in a rural lightly isolated area on the countryside. You'll have a full equiped caravan for yourself. We’ll be pleased of sharing our daily meals with you.
Cantabria is a rainy region of the North of Spain (oceanic climate). The closest town with all services (bus, train, supermarkets, bars, library, etc.) is Cabezon de la Sal (10 km by local road from us). The capital city is Santander (50 km), where you can find the airport, bus and railway conections to other Spanish destination. Bilbao (Basque Country) is around 1 h 20 min by car.
