Description
If you want to live in one of the most beautiful beach areas in México, this is your oportunity¡¡¡
Hola, I´m Mani and I live in Cabo San Lucas, México, I ´ve been working in what is my passion: "The Hostel Cabo" for almost 8 years, having the opportunity to meet people from all over the world; I´ve been inspired for every traveller who has been here and I always try to do my best to improve their experience in to the hostel and the city.
Also I love cooking¡¡¡ I try to cook every day something different or autentic mexican food at breakfast for our guest and volunteers.
I´m looking for energetic & exciting travelers to join our team at the hostel, willing to share and being part of our community.
The Hostel is located next to all the touristic atractions incluiding the beach, the marina, clubs and bars.
Help required
The shift includes cleaning Common areas, dorms and bathrooms, breakfast set up, Checking in, Checking out, laundry, social activities, water the plants, etc.
You´ll be requested to do mornings, afternoons or night shift depending of yours and our activities.
Conditions:
We offer you accommodation in our mixed dormitory in exchange of 25 hours of your time per week.
We will offer you:
Accommodation.
Internet (You will be able to use WIFI any time).
The hostel offers breakfast to the guests and you can also have it.
2 days off per week.
You can use our kitchen facilities.

You'll know the rich Baja California culture, their people and its historie (our hostel is only one block away from the baja california museum), also you'll taste and will have the chance to learn how to make unforgettable food, (tacos de pescado and burritos for example, tipical food from baja), and you'll collect loads of interesting travel stories from all the people who visit our hostel . I can also practice some spanish with you.
Help
We are looking for help around the hostel for 5 hours work day doing cleaning of the bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms in the hostel. As a volunteer, you have to register the tourists, be aware if they need something, do some cleaning and help with great attitude
Im looking for a person who has initiative, positive attitude and flexibility.
But also...
Im looking for some artists who can paint/decorate our walls or somebody with skills in music, yoga or any kind of arts willing to share with our guests.

Cabo San Lucas has everything, Surf, yoga, diving, beautiful beaches and great people, you will have the oportunity to make friends from all over the world. If you want to practice your spanish I´m more than happy to help you with it.
Accommodation
We offer a shared room for our volunteers. The beds are new and comfortable. You can use all the facilities (kitchen, bathroom, living room, free wi-fi) as any tourist. We do not provide any meals, since we only require a few hours of work per day. But we do have a fully stocked kitchen for you to use.
What else ...
You can enjoy the medano beach, santa maria bay and chileno bay beaches both are wonderful for snorkeling. You can also visit the small towns of Todos Santos, Barrilles, La ventana, San Jose del Cabo and El Triunfo. The capital of the state, La paz, offers wonderful places like balandra beach and tecolote beach.

I volunteered at this Hostel for 1 month - August to September. Mani is a great guy and very flexible, but unfortunately he beat me in Fifa all the time. I met amazing people and had great colleagues too. I also improved my Spanish which was also one of my goals. I can definitely recommend staying with Mani, but practice your Fifa skills first.

Maní and EVERYONE at this hostel is incredible. They even encouraged me to hit them with my Spanish (which did improve as a result). There is a really good vibe 'buena onda' in this hostel.
