    Description

    We are Sol & Diego, we have lived in Spain for 20 years, we are from Argentina. Diego has been training for many years in sustainable architecture and designing straw houses. Sol is a stylist and works in the world of fashion and decoration, now she is studing for became a yoga teacher.

    We love nature, having lived many years in cities ... Now we live in La Vera, a natural environment, full of forests and water, a magical place.

    We are doing a bioconstruction project with straw bales in a village in the valley of La Vera, Cáceres, f2,5H. from Madrid.

    We are building a straw house, we work with biostable materials.

    We are looking for men or women who want to come and help us with the project and at the same time enjoy the wonderful surroundings where it is located, the magic valley of Vera.

    It is essential that anyone interested in learning to build in strawbale house and want to come to help us in the project, have experience and know how to use construction tools, grinder, drill, electric locks, screwdriver, etc.

    We work in the morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (5 hours per day) from Monday to Friday. Then we had lunch and then we spent the afternoons in the pools of water refreshing us.

    La vera is an area composed of several charming towns, there are many young people who have gone there to live from the city to the countryside.

    All the seasons of the year are Nice there. In autumn-winter the colors of the trees are endearing and in the spring the flowers burst. In summer it is ideal for bathing in the pools.

    We are quiet people, we like decoration, architecture, music, design, meditation and eat healthy!

    Somos Sol & Diego, vivimos en España hace 20 años, somos de Argentina. Diego lleva muchos años formándose en arquitectura sostenible y diseñando casas de paja. Sol es estilista y trabaja en el mundo de la moda y la decoración.

    Amamos la naturaleza a pesar de haber vivido muchos años en cuidades... Ahora vivimos en La Vera, un entorno natural, lleno de bosques y agua, un sitio mágico.

    Estamos haciendo un proyecto de bioconstruccion con balas de paja en un pueblo del valle de la Vera, Cáceres.
    Estamos construyendo una casa de paja, trabajamos con materiales biosostenibles.

    La vera es una zona compuesta por varios pueblos con encanto a 2,5H de Madrid, hay mucha gente joven que se ha ido a vivir allí de la ciudad al campo.

    Todas las estaciones del año son preciosas allí. En otoño-invierno son entrañables los colores de los árboles y en primavera estallan las flores. En verano es.ideal para darse baños en las pozas.
    Nosotros somos gente tranquila, nos gusta la decoración, la arquitectura, la música, el diseño y comer rico!

    Buscamos hombres o mujeres que quieran venir a ayudarnos con el proyecto y a su vez disfrutar del maravilloso entorno donde está situado, el valle magico de la Vera.

    Es fundamental que quien tenga interés en aprender a construir en paja y quiera en venir a ayudarnos en el proyecto, tenga experiencia y sepa usar herramientas de construcción, amoladora, taladro, cierras eléctricas, atornillador, etc.

    Trabajamos por la mañana de 8 a 13h. (5 horas por dia) de Lunes a Viernes. Luego comemos y luego pasamos las tardes en las pozas de agua refrescandonos.

    We ask for help from men and / or women who know how to work with electric and manual tools. We work with straw, wood, mud and other natural materials.

    It is a very pleasant task, it consists of cutting and assembling wooden structures, cladding with Japanese technique, plastering with clay and lime, mounting interior divisions, electrical and plumbing help.

    Solicitamos ayuda de hombres y/o mujeres que sepan trabajar con herramientas eléctricas y manuales. Trabajamos con paja, madera, barro y demás materiales naturales.

    Es un trabajo muy agradable, consiste en cortar y montar estructuras de madera, revestimiento con técnica Japonesa, revocar con arcilla y con cal, montar divisiones interiores, trabajos de electricidad y fontanería.

    Es fundamental que quien tenga interés en aprender a construir en paja y quiera en venir a ayudarnos en el proyecto, tenga experiencia y sepa usar herramientas de construcción, amoladora, taladro, cierras eléctricas, atornillador, etc. y tenga conocimientos o formación técnica.

    Trabajamos por la mañana de 8 a 13h. (5 horas por dia) de Lunes a Viernes. Luego comemos y luego pasamos las tardes en las pozas de agua refrescandonos.

    We live in a spacious and bright apartment located in the town of Aldeanueva de la Vera, 15 minutes drive from the farm where the house we are building is located.
    We offer a room with two beds and a private bathroom. brackfast, lunch & dinner. (Sometimes we can offer meals with vegetables from our own garden).

    We want you to use our house as if it were yours, maintaining order and living standards, of course!

    Vivimos en un piso amplio.y luminoso ubicado dentro del pueblo de Aldeanueva de la Vera, a 15 minutos en coche de la finca donde está ubicada la casa que estamos construyendo.
    Ofrecemos una habitación compartida con otro voluntario-a con dos camas, baño privado desayuno y comidas. A veces podemos ofrecer comidas con verduras de nuestro propio huerto.

    Queremos que hagas uso de nuestra casa como si fuera la tuya manteniendo el orden y las normas de convivencia, por supuesto!

    Solemos trabajar desde la mañana temprano para aprovechar el día y el clima fresco hasta la hora de comer. (7 or 8AM to 13 or 14PM Aprox.) Depende del momento del año algunos días damos paseos por el campo y en verano a partir del mediodía hacemos picnic en las pozas del río para disfrutar del fresco. Tenemos varios amigos por la zona y solemos organizar encuentros para comer y disfrutar.

    We usually work from early morning, (because is better and cold) to take advantage of the day until lunchtime.(7 or 8AM to 13 or 14PM Aprox.) It depends on the time of the year some days we go for walks in the field and in summer from noon we picnic in the pools of the river to enjoy the fresco. We have several friends in the area and we usually organize meetings to eat and enjoy.
