 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- This provides invaluable experience, specifically with plants and trees as we are in the process of planting 4 acres with trees.
The village itself is diverse and full of life. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills and experience assisting horticulturist and owners of the property to maintain the beautiful grounds.
 - Projects involving children- This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
 - Help- Person(s) should enjoy the outdoors. Good communications skills will be necessary. We would also require some help maintaining the farm, small DIY projects like clearing stables, weeding, grass cutting and repairing fences and painting them.
The work is mostly physical and outdoors, so it’s best suited to those who are comfortable with hands-on tasks and enjoy being active.
While we welcome help from all, the nature of some of the heavier work may particularly suit those with a good level of physical strength and stamina.
 - Languages spoken- English: Fluent
 - Accommodation- Single bedroom accommodation with access to toilet and shower facilities.
 Meals will be provided.
 - What else ...- We will require help on our small farm and DIY projects in return for accommodation and meals. The work will involve the use of various tools, and heavy lifting.
The house is approx. 400 years old. There are 16 acres to the back of the property that are home to horses and cattle during the summer. We have one field that is being re-wilded and this is home to native Irish wildlife such as foxes, badgers and a variety of native birds.
The property is a short walk from the main village that has public transport, pubs, shops and a post office.
Other amenities such as woodland walks, hurling and soccer pitches are in close proximity. We are located close to the Eco Village.
