Description
We are Naomi and Alexander, a Belgian couple in our early thirties, living in sunny Spain with our three wonderful (and very energetic!) young children.
Life here is full of family moments — playing outside, sharing meals, caring for our home and garden, and embracing the occasional chaos that comes with young kids! We are looking for volunteers who enjoy fresh air, don’t mind pitching in with everyday family life, and are happy to lend a hand with tasks like gardening, cooking, housework, or spending time with the children.
In return, you’ll share our family life, experience the local culture, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside.

Staying with us means becoming part of our family life in Spain. We love sharing meals, stories, and adventures with our volunteers. Every now and then, we like to take a family trip to the coast or to vibrant cities like Alicante or Valencia (just about an hour away). Closer to home, our nearby town is full of traditions and cultural activities, such as the famous Moros y Cristianos festival — a colorful celebration you won’t forget.
When it comes to skills, we’re excited to share what we know about local life, language, and Spanish culture. We enjoy cooking together, exchanging recipes, and helping each other discover new traditions. On your side, we hope you bring a sense of adventure, enthusiasm, and a social spirit. Being kind, kid-friendly (our little princess and two pirates will keep you on your toes!), and able to enjoy both lively moments and peaceful downtime will make your stay even more rewarding.
For us, hosting is about more than just help — it’s about friendship, cultural exchange, and learning from each other’s ways of living.Projects involving children

Help
We would love to welcome volunteers who enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind a bit of dirt under their fingernails. The help we need is varied and changes with the seasons — from gardening and taking care of the plants, to general household tasks like cooking, cleaning, tidying up, and spending time with the children.
There may also be small everyday tasks around the house and garden (nothing technical or heavy) — just the kind of little jobs that come with family life.
No special skills are required, just a positive attitude, a willingness to join in, and a good sense of humor (mud and kids don’t always go where they’re supposed to!).Languages

We offer a fully renovated private room with its own sink, shower, and toilet — a clean and comfortable space where you can relax after a day outdoors.
When it comes to food, we like to keep things simple and communal. Our kitchen is open for shared cooking, and we enjoy preparing meals together whenever possible. It’s a great chance to swap recipes, share tastes from different cultures, and enjoy good company around the table.A little more information
